Everything was perfect!!

The stay-cation was a great place for our large group to stay. The location does not get any better. The amount of bedrooms and space it offers for a big group is amazing. Check in/Check out is easy and convenient. If you are in Okoboji with a large group, I highly suggest the stay-cation.

Great Place to stay!

The place was very clean and well maintained. They have pretty much everything you need- coffee maker, full kitchen with utensils and spices, games, towels, washer and dryer, etc. We only stayed 1 night, but it would be a wonderful place to stay a whole week! Wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

We have at StayCation three years in a row and we have had a great experience every time. The house has always been very clean and well stocked. The beds are comfortable and spacious. The outside space is tidy and well cared for. We haven't looked at any other options since we found Sherrie and this house.

Amazing for large groups! You all get your own space but yet can all be together. Pictures don’t serve it justice, it’s better in person and location is perfect to get to “all the things.”

Family Vacation

This was perfect for us as we have a large family. We had plenty of room to spread out and the kids were able to play freely throughout the house. It was within walking distance or very short drive to beaches, Arnold’s Park and so much more. It was a wonderful place to stay and felt like home away from home. Will definitely consider staying here again for another family vacation.

Family fun!!

Plenty of room to have fun with different ages! Location was excellent to get on lake with our son’s pontoon. Plenty of places to walk to for food or beverages. Favorite things were mini golf, fishing, swimming and the escape room at Arnold’s Park!

The best place to stay for our wedding!

The Stay Cation was perfect! Our entire wedding party stayed here. It was so fun to have everyone together, but also very nice that everyone had their own room. The Stay Cation had everything we needed and was walking distance from our wedding venue, the Pavilion. No issues! Would absolutely recommend to others to do the same thing.

Excellent Property!!!

Its tough to give this property a 5 star rating because it should be a 6 or 7 star rating!!! The property truly exceeded all of our expectations. There were 10 of us for a Father/son extended weekend and everyone was very happy. There were so many "extras" at the property that we weren't expecting. Its a great location and a great property! We will absolutely stay here again.

Perfect property for large group

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this VRBO property and must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. This VRBO property combines a fully equipped kitchen, fantastic entertainment options, and an ideal location near various attractions to provide an unforgettable vacation experience. Sherri ensures that any questions or concerns are promptly addressed. Check in and out was easy. We had over 20 people staying at this property, and we had more than enough room for everyone to feel comfortable. Would highly recommend for a large family getaway/gathering!

Good place

This was a good place to stay. My only gripe is that finding the checkout information was hard to find. In my email it simply said take your belongings but right before we left I found a list on the fridge of the things needed before checkout. This left us scrambling to get that completed. Otherwise this was a great place and a great location.

4 Years of Perfection

My husband and I have been bringing a friend's reunion to Okoboji for 5 years now, 4 of which in this rental. This year in the rental was probably the best! There have been renovations to the rental, including additional outdoor equipment, washer/dryer upgrades, added table space, and some really cute decor! Sherri is the best host as well - communicating throughout the weekend with us and always being flexible if we need something. We will always recommend this place to friends and family. We have already done so and had another group rave to us about loving their stay here.
