Very spacious 2 room suite. Very clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Lovely furnishings and comfortable beds and linens. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked delicious and the breakfast room was lovely. Good location with restaurants a 5 min walk away and bakery and lunch places around the corner. The only draw back to this accommodation was that in the suite, the toilet and shower/sink were separate rooms and not next to each other. Otherwise this place was perfect! Our favourite place in our travels in Amsterdam, Belgium and France.

A really lovely welcome from the receptionist. She was able to answer all our questions and gave us a bottle of water on arrival which was much appreciated. We stayed in the suite as we had 2 children. It was plenty big enough. The only issue was there was no sink with the toilet, you needed to walk into the ensuite off the bedroom to wash hands. The car park is a brilliant asset, however it's very snug to get in and park. Overall it was a lovely stay and exactly what we needed! An easy stroll into the centre of Arras for dinner and some delicious snacks from the patisseries 😋

Exceptional and considerate service. I was helped by the front desk staff to plan my sightseeing in the area. They ensured that I had all the necessary details for places I would visit. Location was perfect, room was clean, breakfast had a good variety with quality. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff/owner was very friendly. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. Parking spaces were close to the main door and well lit. The entry to the parking/ front door of hotel quite narrow to get into off the street. Parking fee was 14 € not the 10€ as stated on Hotels.com. There was breakfast for 16€ which we declined but there was no restaurant for lunch or dinner. Plenty of restaurants nearby though.

The internet did not work. We stayed on the top floor, it was not strong enough to connect. Also, a number code would be useful to get in without the key card. We inadvertently left the key in the room and had to call someone to come and let us in. Clearly our fault and they were very kind and accommodating, and literally ran over without complaint. Otherwise, great location, very comfy beds, clean spacious room and lovely host.

We were very happy with our stay here, everyone we encountered was helpful and eager to make our stay pleasant. The room was comfortable, and I had the best sleep in a month on their bed. The hotel is quiet and we had no interruptions. The room was clean and bright. There was no shampoo or soap on offer, which we would have considered a basic amenity. We had breakfast and it was excellent. We thought it a good value. We would recommend this location to anyone. The on-site parking was most helpful. We would return to The Dome without hesitation.

I just stayed two days at the hotel with my wife and two older children. The location was fantastic and surprising quiet. It’s an older building with lots of character. The staff was very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely hotel in the middle of Arras.

Hotel is currently being renovated but the main building has been completed and the rooms are very well presented. We arrived several hours early but this was not a problem and we were shown straight to our room. Attached to the hotel is a really nice restaurant with an excellent menu. The only may be limited parking, especially when the renovations are completed.

The hotel is close to train station. It is new modern and clean. The staff were not available for check in. Recommend setting up check in directly with hotel prior to arrival. Come and go once you have your key. I would recommend staying here.

Nice clean and comfortable room but Terrible service. Arrived between 5:30 and 6:00 pm as I had requested in my reservation. No one at reception, knocked on door with no response or bell to ring. The restaurant was closed. I thought both hotel and restaurant had closed down. There was just a phone number to call “in their absence” printed on the door but I had no phone service. Had to look for someone to help me call them. Finally the lady at the bakery was kind enough to call the manager who took another half an hour to come to check me in. They need to have someone at the property “more often” especially if you told them you would be checking in after 5:00

A hidden gem for a cheeky stopover

Booking was straightforward via Hotels.com. We used thie hotel as a stopover on the way from Calias to Village Natures Center Parcs near Paris. Easy to find after reading reviews and Google street viewing. The hotel is set back and entry is via a tight archway from the Boulevard de Strasbourg. We paid for the limited onsite car parking in the courtyard. There was a note on the door to call for access once arrived and we were greeted and let in. A quick check of our reservation and we were handed our key card. Our room was spotless, chic and had plenty of room for two adults and two kids. Our bed was a massive super king size. Our kids enjoyed their own sofa bed room. The air con was brill as it was so hot outside. The blackout curtains worked well. Only thing we didn't like was that the toilet was in the lounge area and not in the ensuite, the toilet was really high and no sink in there. It was ok, just was unexpected. The hotel is within walking distance from La Grande-Place, where we sat in the evening enjoying local crêpes. We had a breakfast in the morning. It was lovely and fresh and we were well looked after by the friendly host. Definitely would recommend this hidden gem and would come back to have more of a look around Arras to stay at this hotel.

The outside appearance belies a really charming hotel - finding the entrance and getting in can be a little daunting - but once inside the rooms are very good and the staff really helpful. The location for the tourist also couldn’t be better.
