Artigues is a small, very quiet, and sunny village located at an elevation of 650 metres and 5 km from Lourdes.
The studio is located in the sheep barn of our old family farm, a typical Bigourdane-style property that opens onto a vast meadow and offers views of the Montaigu and the Pic du Midi: you can enjoy the scenery from our lounge chairs and picnic tables.
No need to worry about parking for cars and motorcycles—there’s plenty of space in the farmyard.
The village of Artigues is ideally located for exploring the region: Lourdes, of course—the grotto, the shrines, and everything related to Saint Bernadette—but also the castle, the market, and the market halls, as well as Lake Lourdes for walks, paddleboarding, and magnificent sunsets.
A little further afield, there’s no shortage of places of interest: the Cirque de Gavarnie, the Pont d’Espagne waterfalls, the Pic du Midi, and the Betharram Caves are among the most famous.
