"This hotel is on the Riverwalk with their own entrance next to heart island. It is a two to three minute walk to the tourist trap restaurants for those who want Mexican food while sitting on the edge of the Riverwalk. The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are all suites with two rooms, a sitting room and a bedroom with a door. Our room was 500 square feet, quite large for a hotel these days. The hotel has an atrium that spans the height of the hotel. At the bottom is a very large bar with an attached restaurant. We discovered that the bar food menu was delicious! The goat cheese with honey and pitas were outstanding! If you are traveling to San Antonio for the first time, if you can, find a Mexican restaurant off the Riverwalk. The restaurants on the Riverwalk are really for tourists who don’t know any better. For Mexican pastries, go to La Panadería and bakery, it usually has a line in the morning but you won’t be disappointed. It is a 5 minute walk from this hotel at street level. If you take the Riverwalk to get there it will take longer, the river is not a straight line. Also, go try the other hotel restaurants on the Riverwalk, this will give you more varieties and experiences. Oh ya, the Alamo is also a minute walk at street level. Have fun and enjoy the TexMex!!!"

"What a treasure to find directly across from JPS Hospital! It has two bedrooms, accepts pets, has a washer & dryer and a fully stocked kitchen! There’s also a bathtub and a nice fenced-in yard out back. Communication was great and the owner was prompt in her reply… I highly recommend staying here!"

"Very minimalistic rooms, but clean and comfy. No keys and using the Goki app was different but interesting. Floor to ceiling shades were nice. Bare concrete floors were just what we needed considering it was 105degrees outside. I’d stay there again. CVS is literally Nextdoor plus various restaurants in the building Nextdoor. As well as Hurtado’s BBQ across the street."

"I have stayed at many VRBO’s and this stay is by far the best one yet! The house is smaller but set up to provide ample space. I brought my daughter and grandkids and never had a space issue. The outdoor area is beautiful. It provides plenty of shade around the pool so that even a hot August day was enjoyable. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they went out of their way to help celebrate my birthday. They are very welcoming and thoughtful, and absolutely went above and beyond for us!The check in was simple. The antiques that decorate the house were fun to look at, This is hands down the best VRBO yet!"

"Selected this location due to its proximity to JPS hospital.Staff was excellent in providing information about the location via emails Living area was nice and comfyBeds were comfortable bathrooms, nice and roomyThe alleyway is a little tricky to find if you are not used to identifying themUnfortunately, there were a few homeless individuals in the alley however they did not bother us and this is no fault of the propertyStrictly sharing for the purposes of the entire surroundingI would definitely stay again if I had to visit this area"
