"Our visit to the Sanna did not start well, there was a snafu with our reservation, resulting in us being moved to their eco lodge on arrival. The staff was very gracious in trying to make up for this, and the owner personally came to right this. The hotel is beautiful, i fully recommend upgrading the suite. There is a rooftop restaurant and bar that has beautiful views. The bell tower and market is within walking distance, however vendors make walking the streets annoying. They have a transfer service from the airport that is worth reserving. The hotel has spa services that are relaxing for weary travelers. "

"This is a great hotel right in the middle of Arusha. Good breakfast, spacious rooms and a big beautiful garden to wander through. Take advantage of happy hour in the Hatari Bar.
A few notes: Arusha is a busy, noisy city and you're right in the middle of it. Don't expect rooms near the road to be quiet. Doesn't bother us as we live in a busy city, but might bother you if you're not used to it. The front desk will arrange a driver for you to take you wherever you need to go, but there are a few decent coffeeshops/restaurants you can walk to, as well."
"The hotel did not meet expectations as the description was inaccurate—there was no restaurant on-site, the rooms were not soundproof, and there was mold on the walls. The hot water system was unreliable, offering boiling water for a minute, followed by a 15-minute wait for it to warm up again. The most frustrating issue was that the hotel does not accept credit cards, and this was not communicated in advance, forcing us to drive to an ATM to withdraw cash during checkout. On the positive side, the breakfast included tasty crepes and fresh fruits. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I will not be returning."
