"Shin San is amazing. He was helpful with everything! There was also an electric bike that he let me use for free. The udon restaurant nearby is also amazing. Like a park setting. I recommend this ryokan highly. "

"Amazing artistic surroundings, the public spaces are decorated beautifully, it was lovely to spend time enjoying them. The massage was superb too as well as the daily Japanese breakfasts. We stayed 6 nights and it was so nice to come back to the hotel every night to relax after being out on the islands to see the art."

"It’s a wonderful hotel gives all the convenience to the guests. Easy walk to pier for ferry to Naoshima day trip after a well-planned breakfast. All the staff are professionally trained & well-mannered. Special mention to Gamal , he gave us a warm welcome at the restaurant for our first lunch. "This is a completely new facility in an old warehouse district of Sakate on Shodoshima. Right on the water, the views from the hotel are stunning.
The staff is courteous, helpful, and professional.
The rooms are spacious, with sitting areas and balconies, but also a bit quirky in design.
We had one dinner at the hotel and two breakfasts. The food was excellent--and reasonably priced.
I would happily return to this hotel, given the opportunity."
