We were 24 hour flight delay back home to Dallas and so I made reservations for Aschaffenburg, Germany. This little hotel has 39 rooms, two dining rooms and the best hosts I have ever had the opportunity to meet. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and large. We had tea in the dining room, my husband entertained us on the keyboard and they catered to us as if we were royalty. Ready to go back. Don’t miss out on the gem of a place located across the street from the Johannesburg Castle. Beautiful place.

The property is certainly an old school European style regional hotel. Small and quaint. The “executive business” room was more of a dorm room with a single twin bed. It had a safe, which was good, but the locks are keyed. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. No microwave in room and minibar fridge was super small.
