Our two lovingly furnished holiday apartments, each accommodating two people, invite you to leave everyday life behind and feel completely at home. Each apartment has its own entrance and a unique layout: living upstairs and sleeping downstairs via a spiral staircase. A cosy temporary home that instantly puts you in a holiday mood. The town centre is just a few minutes’ walk away. There you’ll find various shops, a supermarket, inviting cafés, traditional restaurants, and the train station with a bus stop. Perfect for anyone who enjoys a leisurely stroll. Right from your front door, you can set out on relaxing walks, scenic mountain hikes, or varied bike tours through the surrounding area and up into the mountains. Your holiday begins the moment you open the door. A free parking space at the house and free Wi-Fi are, of course, available to you. Please note: Unfortunately, dogs and other pets are not allowed.
The cosy, non-smoking “Prien” holiday apartment welcomes you with its warm country-style decor and offers a particularly pleasant living environment across two levels. High-quality hardwood floors lend the rooms a natural, serene atmosphere that immediately invites you to relax. A small balcony terrace with four steps leads to your own separate entrance—a retreat for a relaxing holiday. In the upper living area, you’ll find a cosy corner bench with a dining table, a flat-screen cable TV, and free Wi-Fi. The open, fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator,
microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, and electric kettle offers everything you need for relaxed meals. A sleeper sofa (140/200) complements the living space and invites you to read, relax, or simply unwind. On the balcony terrace, you can enjoy sunny moments and fresh air—ideal for a quick break in between activities. A special highlight of the apartment is the solid cast-iron spiral staircase that connects the two levels. It’s not only extremely sturdy and comfortable to walk on but also a real eye-catcher that lends the living space a charming, unique touch. This staircase leads you to the lower level of the apartment. There you’ll find the quiet bedroom, whose pleasant atmosphere ensures a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom, equipped with a shower and toilet, features a modern and functional design. An additional storage room with a washing machine, drying rack, and cleaning supplies is also at your disposal. Bed linens and towels are, of course, provided. Please note that dogs and other pets are not allowed.

Numerous attractions, museums, and cultural highlights in the Chiemgau and neighbouring Tyrol invite you to rediscover the surrounding area time and again. The Kampenwand rises directly above the town and delights visitors with panoramic trails, cosy mountain huts, and authentic mountain adventures. Just a few minutes away lies Lake Chiemsee with its islands—a place to enjoy nature, culture, and relaxing moments by the water. For day trips, consider Salzburg with its historic old town, Munich with its museums, shopping, and sights, and Kufstein in Tyrol with its impressive fortress. Many of these destinations are easily accessible by car or train, making them ideal for guests who want to experience a lot and appreciate variety.
Our two holiday apartments, each with a small balcony terrace, are located in our single-family home—so we live right here on-site and warmly welcome you. We’re always happy to answer any questions, offer tips on excursions, or help with any small requests. To ensure your holiday gets off to a relaxing start, the host will, of course, help carry your luggage up the spiral staircase.
