"Great unique and quirky loft space. Very central right opposite Minster Cathedral. The bells rang for about an hour on the Sunday midmorning, but don't know if that is a regular thing. The loft was cosy and warm. Too warm at times but you can adjust the heating. I don't think the bedroom window opens as i struggled with it,so a shame no air can get in as the bedroom can feel a little stuffy at times. "Prince Rupert House is a very beautiful house on a country estate. It has an outdoor pool which our grandchildren loved. Also croquet, tennis court and lots of walks. We had no issues with the house … it slept 10 comfortably and would accommodate 12. Great place to go and relax. 25 minutes from York and 30 minutes from Harrogate. All in all a lovely time together as a family. No complains at all. I can heartily recommended this place. They also have smaller properties too."

"A lovely little property, tucked out of the way 15 minutes walk from one of the gates to the city of York. We parked the car and then left it there. There were local buses but we didn't feel the need to use them. A very modern downstairs bathroom. The stairs were narrow but were aware of this in the comprehensive details. The host was very communicative and let us know all details in ample time. Thanks Angela (and John) "

"We had the best stay at this property. All three properties are very well equipped and were perfect for our large group. The location is stunning and great for doing walks in the local area. Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property. "Stayed here for one night. Directions were not great, the address on the website is not the address of the property you will be staying in. We were told to park in Chatsworth place and look for white patio doors. What we actually should have been told is the property is up the back of a small inlet between property numbers 33 and 37. This would of saved time wondering around trying to find the property. We had to park outside someone else’s house half on path half on road, so was a bit worried...
