"The lodges are so modern and have everything you could need. Bedrooms at opposite ends of the lodges, both with their own en-suites, gave us space and quiet time away from the kids room. The open plan kitchen/living room was lovely for sitting down for breakfast etc. We spent a whole day at Alton towers, we wished we would have booked a longer stay to get the full benefits of the lodge and the park. "I absolutely loved this place, the cabin was exactly as it was on the pictures, very clean, bottle of milk ready in the fridge with tea, coffee and sugar laid out ready. The table was set out like a restaurant table would be. There were dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, new dishcloth and tea towel provided and also a bath towel and hand towel and per person, plenty toilet roll, hand-wash and small bottles of shampoo and body wash. "We are 4 friends who just needed an overnight break. We were so lucky to find Beech lodge. Stunning location and the lodge is so beautiful. We had a lovely relaxing time and would definitely go for longer next time. Thanks Rob"

"Our lodge was brilliant, lots of space inside, robes and plenty of towels for the hot tub. Staff were so friendly and helpful and everything was delivered and looked after perfectly. Lodge was really well equipped with everything we needed. Location wise being only 4 miles from Alton Towers was perfect for us and felt like a million miles away after a full day in a busy theme park. Would highly recommend staying in these lodges."

"A lovely little hut in a perfect location. Check out time is 9am so if we were to return, I think it would have to be for a minimum of two nights as 9am is pretty early so we didn’t even have time for breakfast before we had to clean up and check out. Considering the price and the small space, I think a complimentary addition of bits in the fridge would be good. Lots of places I’ve visited for the same price (and less!) on Vrbo have added in fresh bread, butter, orange juice and even Prosecco...

"Love this place. Excellent views great for the dogs. Just needs a few tweaks to make it perfect. Bbq outside is unusable, but more information in the pod is needed but overall we loved it. Planning the next visit already."

"The lodge we stayed in ( badger lodge) was amazing. It came with everything you need to make your stay comfortable for a family of 4. The lodge include a washing machine, hoover, huge freezer and a hair dryer. The hot tub is definitely the highlight of the stay. A guy comes out and explains all the dials and is cleaned on a daily basis. The area overall is good, there is a play area for young children but not much for teenagers to do apart from a quarry trail. The only let down for this place...

"Lodge was adequate for our needs as a base for two day trips to Alton Towers. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were great but the living areas and kitchen need some upgrades as the sofas and dining chairs very uncomfortable due to over use. The kitchen was adequate - however the hob didn’t work the oven wasn’t easy to use and there was a dishwasher which was listed so we didn’t bring tablets for that and don’t expect to find a dish cloth to clean or wash dishes."

"This is our second time back at the cottage. The pool is brilliant and much bigger than it appears in the photos. The surrounding are is beautiful and the cottage is really clean, snug and well kitted out. Another great stay."

"We enjoyed our short stay at the barn. The host Jackie was very friendly and kindly allowed us the use of a field to run the dogs, which we (and they) appreciated very much. There are also lovely walks from the property and Dovedale is only a short drive away. We would definitely return if we are ever up this way again. Thank you."
