We loved staying here. It was in a perfect location, less than an easy mile’s walk from everywhere we wanted to go. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
The wonderful location to a steak place, bakery, oyster place, tacos, and a fun bar made this a great place to experience a lot that Asheville has to offer! We also loved that Trader Joe’s was close.
Enjoyed our stay! The property was extremely clean and nicely decorated. Cute bakery around the corner and Pack’s Tavern was a go to for a meal, appetizers, dessert or drinks. We took advantage of the 15 minute walk to the downtown district which had unique shops, numerous restaurants and breweries.
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was newly upgraded and extremely clean just like the photos. We also enjoyed the bakery and restaurant right down the block. Easy walk to town and short drive to the Bluegrass parkway.
We had a great time staying at this apartment. Wonderful location and very clean. The bed is very comfortable which is a bonus when staying at a rental. We spent Thanksgiving there and there was plenty of cookware. I would stay there the next time we are in Asheville.
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend. The property is very clean, has a lot of necessities included, and is in a terrific location. The downtown area is only about a 15 minute walk away. There a lots of bars, restaurants, and activities within walking distance including right next door. Will definitely stay again if we return to Asheville.
I came to town for a concert and made a weekend of it. The place had everything I needed. Bakery right around the corner. Convenient 1 mile walk to the downtown Asheville area.
The home was very spacious a d in a great location. We had no problem walking to stores and even downtown. Rhe only oddity was the bathroom sink was located on the other side of the house but we got used to it.
Great location. The City Bakery that shares the parking lot is a must. Also walked to the Liberty Coffee Shop. Good walking to downtown Asheville and very short drives to Biltmore and Grove Park Inn. Comfortable bed and amenities. Good shower, kinda weird arrangement with sink in separate area from toilet and shower, but old house. The only negative comment is an old house smell that maybe air fresheners would help
We enjoyed our stay here. In a great neighborhood with access to downtown just a walk away. Clean and exactly as listed. The only reason we gave it a 4 star overall was due to the fact we had no hot water for hours on Saturday. We went hiking in the morning and just wanted a hot shower upon returning.
Unfortunately, it was a fix that took a while. The company responded immediately and had their crew out in a decent timeframe which we appreciated. But we left to give them time to work and came back about 2.5 hours later and it was still being worked on. So then we left again and when we came back later it was working. We didn't receive notification it was working again so we weren't sure when to come back. Luckily we got back in time to shower before our dinner reservations.
Let me start by saying expectation/context is everything when reviewing.
Our stay was excellent when considering it was ~$100/night. We really only spent time in the unit sleeping, getting ready, and relaxing for a short time and had everything we needed to do such. I was not expecting over-the-top accommodations, but the bed was comfortable and all amenities were provided so I was pleased.
Location was good, however, Asheville is in the middle of the mountains and the city is quite hilly so, while walking anywhere is quite possible, walking could be challenging for those not in shape to go up and down.
My only comment is that there was no picture of the front of the duplex to identify the unit from the street. I also understand the outer appearance of the duplex doesn't reflect the cleanliness of the interior.
Finally, relatively close to downtown (great food scene for the size of the city), Biltmore, and Asheville outlet mall - all within ~10 minutes.
Overall, great value for the price and would recommend.
This property is ideally located. It is around the corner from City Bakery and Bone and Broth. It is an easy walk to downtown Asheville. The property is very spacious, clean, and has all the amenities and supplies we needed for our stay. The management staff are friendly and very helpful. We look forward to coming back!
Property was awesome -- extremely clean, roomy, nicely decorated, well appointed, with a very comfortable king sized bed. Plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioners and a good sized shower with great water pressure. Easy parking in the lot behind the property. Within walking distance to downtown Asheville, and numerous restaurants, shops and breweries. Also within walking distance of a couple of grocery stores. Easy check-in and check-out procedures. Host was very responsive. We highly recommend and would love to stay here again during our next visit to Asheville.

Liked: Check-in, location
Good enough
Strange layout to the house. Shower/commode separate from sink. Needs updating as floor in bathroom has weak areas. Light switches in bedroom and sink/closet area on remote - took a bit to figure that out. Fine for us just looking to have a place to sleep and shower.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Sink is way too far away from shower & toliet
Ridiculous the sink was 30 feet from shower(floor outside of shower) was squishy and the noise of dumpster pick up in the early am was right outside of the window.
Good location and enjoyed it for the most part HOWEVER, our air did not keep the place cool. We called multiple times and had someone come look at it but it was never fixed. During the day the place ranged from 78-80 despite it being set on 70. On Saturday, the offered to let us checkout that night which we couldn’t obviously do being that we had plans. Still have not heard from property management for a solution.

Reviewer Comments:
Loved our stay! The property was clean, easy to get into, felt safe, very quiet area yet only 0.5 miles from everything we wanted to do downtown. Check out was also simple with only basic expectations for trash and dishes. I was worried about finding a parking space due to the shared lot but ithere was ample parking. And this was the first time I’ve stayed somewhere and did not have to contact the owners for any reason except to say thank you. Highly recommend!
We were in town for our son’s wedding and spent 4 nights here. We had a wonderful stay. Location is very convenient to all Asheville has to offer and having Corner Bakery right next door was super convenient in the mornings. We would definitely stay again!
The place was convenient, clean, and attractive. It was not well appointed: no cork screw or church key, no hot pads or mitts, so salt and pepper, no coffee filters. The management co was very responsive but we didn't want to keep calling them so we did without some of it. The worst was no thermostat and it got fairly cold. We did not call about that, though.
Very clean and a basic one room apartment in what appears to be an old house that has been re-done. An affordable place for a quick getaway. A bit of a walk, but if you have the time you can walk downtown and to the brewery district and enjoy yourself..
