Scenic Getaway: Cozy with Hot Tub, Fast Wifi, Serene Pond View, Close to Town

One of six LUXURY cabins on 25 acres of property. This charming cozy log cabin nestled in Highrock Acres, with a bonfire pit, large pond, horseshoe pit, hammock, picnic tables, long creek and walking trails with all the comforts of home. It's a perfect getaway for those that love nature, while still only minutes to quaint historic downtown black mountain and very close to Asheville, and dogs are welcomed. This cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a loft, log fireplace, 2 flat screen televisions with DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, free long distance, free internet service and a large covered deck with jacuzzi & gas grill overlooking the lighted fountain in the pond. Perfect location for multiple families and/or groups traveling together - see also Highrock Preserve and Highrock Retreat all within walking distance to this cabin.

During mid December through the month of February, we do require 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive in case of snow and ice conditions. We can never predict the weather and some years it's hit or miss.

We thoroughly clean and wash all bedding and towels between each stay. We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces as well (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in!

Outdoor recreation and outdoor adventures are seemingly endless in the Western North Carolina mountains, the outdoor playground of the Southeast along with the conveniences of city life. Acclaimed by numerous magazines as a top outdoor adventure destination. Take a walk through historic downtown Black Mountain and discover numerous upscale gift shops, galleries and Appalachian-style craft stores. From the most upscale cuisine to country cooking and BBQ, the area is home to over forty restaurants sure to please any palate.

Anniversary getaway

Nice cabin deep in the woods. The gravel roads (hills) were washboarded so you definitely will want a vehicle that can handle this. We enjoyed our time at the cabin to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin has everything you need and was perfect for a quiet getaway.

Great house full of everything you need! Great porch looking over a pond. Large hot tub on porch. Very cozy cabin. Rustic but equipped with WiFi etc. ceiling fans in every room to help with temp. Definitely recommend!

Very Enjoyable Cabin

My wife and I enjoyed this cabin and area very much. Everything in and around the cabin is well-maintained. Everything we needed was there so the was no need to call the property manager. We would recommend this cabin this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We will probably book again next year. We also loved Black Mountain and Chimney Rock.

Our cabin, which overlooks a pond, is clean, quiet, cozy & comfortable. The property manager is helpful, efficient & couldn’t be friendlier. The mountains keep calling us back; we plan on returning to a High Rock cabin next summer.

Black Mountain Cabin

This property was perfect for our stay in Black Mountain and Asheville. We were here to hike and explore the area and this cabin provided a great location for that. It was great to unwind at this cozy cabin each night and our dogs loved the hiking trails on the property. It is a bit difficult to get to this cabin and I’d suggest having a vehicle with 4 wheel drive. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend it to others!

Girls Mountain Trip

The location and scenery here was fabulous! About 30 minutes from our Biltmore trip and Ashville shopping trip! Just a few minutes away from the Black Mountian shops, which we liked better than the Ashville ones. The Cabin was absolutely Beautiful and could not have been anymore perfect! The location was exactly what we were looking for!Thank You so much for letting us use iur home away from home!

Perfect family getaway cabin. Great for young kids

The cabin is really thoughtfully decorated and felt like home. It was a perfect size for our family of 4 with 2 young children. The wifi worked extremely well and even reached to the firepit area. The property surrounding the cabin was the true star. The trails are beautiful and the fire pit area was awesome. I would recommend bringing chairs as there is only a picnic table. You may have to share the firepit if the other cabin is occupied. We really loved the property and would definitely book again!

Peaceful Getaway

The Meadow is a great cabin. It was more than spacious enough for us. The hot tub was a great bonus in the evening when the air cooled down. We loved the trails on the property, the huge fire pit surrounded by the pond and seeing the mama bear and baby cubs was a wonderful treat! I highly recommend this cabin if you want to feel secluded, but still close enough to town to get some dinner at one of the restaurants in Black Mountain or take a ride into Asheville. We will definitely return.

Quiet Getaway

My family and I were looking for a quiet weekend getaway, and this cozy cabin was perfect!! Super clean, plenty of space, and everything we needed for a relaxing trip! It was very close to downtown, and we really enjoyed walking around and visiting the shops. There were plenty of food options, cute coffee shops, and places to have a drink and hang out. I can’t think of any negatives about the property or location! I’m already planning another trip for next year, and I will definitely book this cabin if it’s available!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
