About this property
Entire place
You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.
We are gratefully open for guests with all amenities intact! Including the views and the area. All roads leading to the cabin are in good shape. The historical Biltmore Estate has been up and running for months and Asheville is rising as usual in great form. The spirit here is unstoppable❣️
Known for its inspiring views, privacy and serene atmosphere, our cabin is the perfect getaway for the romantic at heart. Our Cozy and inviting home features a King Bed (stunning view can be seen from bed), Beautiful Wood Burning Stove, Reading Nook with a variety of books, Love Seat, and Flat Screen TV with a satellite program. Also a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your favorite meals, Hot Tub and gas grill on the totally private deck, which is partially covered for outdoor dining even in a gentle rain. If you time your trip right you may even witness a full moon coming up over the mountains and sailing across the sky! The bathroom provides a Ceramic Tile Walk In Shower, Old Amish Cabinet and a Copper Bowl Sink. We now have a fire pit with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing campfire. Just bring the marshmallows and hot dogs!
Treetop Mountain Vista is easily accessible with any kind of vehicle and is only a quarter mile from the main road. We are only minutes away from Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Pisgah, the Biltmore Estate and the Asheville Outlets Mall. Enjoy many varied activities as you explore white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, the Pisgah National Forest, fly fishing, hot air ballooning, mountain biking, climbing, community theater and the "Land of Waterfalls" in nearby Transylvania County. Take in Asheville for our world class restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, antique, vintage clothing and craft shops, parks, Pack Square, quirky tours and let's not forget the abundance of micro-breweries. Plenty of time for day trips?...check out the nearby mountain towns of Waynesville, Black Mountain, Brevard, Flat Rock and Chimney Rock. Or you may choose to bring your supplies, never leave the property and just enjoy relaxing or exploring the mountain behind the cabin. Many guests do just that!!! (Dogs especially love it because they can run off leash!) If your visit to Asheville includes hiking or biking, then you’ve landed on the right pad! TTMV is perfectly situated within easy driving distance to many of the best trails in Western NC. We are only 4.5 miles from where the famous “Mountains to Sea Trail” intersects at MP 405 with the Blue Ridge Parkway and Hwy 151. (Also named Pisgah Highway, a very scenic road in it’s own right.) Go South on the Blue Ridge Parkway to “Looking Glass Rock”trail on the left, (a rigorous trail with a famous view) and go a little further to “Graveyard Fields” on the right. Keep going to Black Balsam Rd on the right (easy to miss) with trail heads and at the end is the “Art Loeb Trail” section 3, which is part of the “Shining Rock Wilderness Area”. (This writer has been on that trail several times but has yet to make it to Shining Rock). These are only suggestions and to learn more about these wonderful opportunities and more, go to sites such as “Hike WNC” and “Asheville Hiking Tours”. You do NOT need a four-wheel, SUV, Jeep or large truck to access any of these hikes. For less exhilarating hiking adventures, check out the NC Arboretum and Bent Creek Experimental Forest, both of which are only 20 minutes from this cabin. Or spend a day on the Biltmore Estate trails.

We had such an amazing time! It is perfect for a romantic weekend. We loved the fireplace and there was even a small Christmas tree. Absolutely a wonderful location to take in nature.
Was absolutely beautiful location and cabin was well equipped and felt like being at home! Had everything we needed to cook meals and was close to so many things to do!
This place is even better in person. The host is very responsive if you need anything. We loved our stay. It was homey, comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed
Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was very well stocked. The view is absolutely gorgeous! The host's communication is very responsive and kind! Lovely place to stay!
Wow what a great place to stay. We absolutely loved our 3 nights at Nancy’s cabin. The location is so peaceful, beautiful and isolated. The stars at night from the hot tub were unbelievable. The bed is very comfortable. Highly recommended this to anyone. The driveway looks steep at first but no big deal. One of our favorite we have stayed at
We really enjoyed our stay! We had everything we needed, loved the secluded feel, and enjoyed the hot tub. Definitely recommend a visit to Budgie’s Bakeshop nearby!
We had an awesome time! Crummy weather kept us in more than we’d expected, but the cabin was the perfect place for it. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace and the cold rain didn’t dampen our vacation one bit. Nancy was super responsive and helpful, the place was impeccably clean, and we enjoyed all the helpful guides left for us to pick out fun things to do when the weather let up. Can’t recommend it enough!
This cabin is the perfect cozy getaway! Everything was as advertised. We enjoyed the gorgeous view and took a few dips in the hot tub to relax. About a 25 minute drive to downtown Asheville, if you’re looking for some activity. Overall, this was a fantastic honeymoon stay for my husband and I. We hope to stay at this lovely cabin again soon!
Perfect get-away for a couple and their dog. Always a great view! We loved the fireplace for the cold nights we had. It kept everything warm and toasty. The dog loved the short path along side and behind the cabin. Good place for him to release the zoomies.
Exactly as described. Home is very clean, super cozy with the fireplace and has everything you need. We enjoyed the hot tub, the grill and the privacy. Perfect!
We were very happy with the location. Quiet, cozy, and the picturesque view from the deck (and the hot tub) was amazing. Not too far from town, we had a fun day in Asheville before returning to relax among the tree tops again. I would not hesitate to book a return stay at this sweet spot next time we are in the area. Host quickly replied to messages.
