This house was a great location for our mother/daughter weekend getaway! We enjoyed the local restaurants (thanks for the recs!) and enjoyed a day at Biltmore.
The place was clean and relatively easy to find. The driveway is a little hard to navigate with a large truck but it’s still manageable. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. My favorite part of the stay was the sound machine for sleeping! I would stay here again if I went back to the Asheville area. The owners were nice and easy to get ahold of.
The house was perfect for our girl’s trip. Bedrooms are quite large. It was delightful to sit on the deck every morning and drink our coffee. The location of the house was perfect to all our venues. Our host, Jon, was very helpful and responded to our questions in a VERY timely fashion.
Thank you for sharing a beautiful home. We enjoyed our time there. Can we know the name of the mattress in the room upstairs with the TV please? The lady who slept there would like to know. You are welcome to send a text. Thank you, Charlia
The entire house is lovely and very comfortable. Great bedding! Probably the cleanest Vrbo that I’ve ever stayed in. Communication with Jon was excellent. He sent someone to help with TV issues immediately. I would suggest that detailed instructions on how to use the TV be posted in the unit as others have indicated they had problems too. Unfortunately, flooding from Helene occurred during our stay and we were stranded without power. Jon came by to check on the property after the storm. It was a devastating event but we were so thankful for a comfortable safe place to shelter until we could find a route back to TN. I would absolutely rent this house again. Wishing Jon and the people of Asheville the best as they start recovering from this tragic event.
Great location, excellent space. Perfect for a friend group or family gathering. One bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs, perfect for our friend group. Great communication and the check- in was simple and with no issues.
The home is decorated nicely, had all the comforts of home, neighborhood is lovely, location is perfect! We absolutely will be returning to this VRBO again. Oh! The beds… oh so comfy!
Wonderful house for a family! Jon was great about helping with tv issues. Parking was a little tricky, but we figured it out. We will definitely try to stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay in the house. The interior of the house is great and looks better than the outside. A couple of notes about our stay. We had a difficult time figuring out how to turn on the dishwasher when we left today. We had a couple of failures. The exterior of the house (garage door and front entrance) is extremely dirty with cobwebs. So much so we were afraid to see the inside. The two lime green chairs in the dining room need the seat cushions restuffed. They are very uncomfortable to sit on.
Our son was getting married in Asheville and we needed somewhere close to stay that could hold 5 adults, 3 kids and a dog. This foot the bill. Very clean and roomy and was never more than 15 minutes from everywhere we needed to be; Highland Brewery, Packs Tavern, Oak and Grist Distilling, downtown. Ingles grocery very close and great spot for breakfast, The Local Joint, just up the road. The only down side is the road up to the house is very narrow, you have to be very careful. House driveway is a little tight when you have more than 1 vehicle. The batteries were not working in 2 tv Roku remotes but since we were not in the house very much it didn't bother. Would easily come back if need a spot in the future.
I was very impressed in the home we rented for two nights in the Asheville area. It was nicely decorated, felt homey and I loved that they provide a little nice touches like shampoo, washing machine pods, different types of sweeteners for your coffee, etc. it was very close to the Biltmore which is what we had come to see and also very close to the downtown breweries and restaurants that we wanted to visit at night. The owner even reached out to make sure everything was good for us. The home is in a small community of Homes access by a very long steep driveway. It wasn’t a problem for us but I am not sure how it would be during snow. We would certainly rent this home again if we were to stop in Asheville.
