What's nearby

  • Final camping trip of the season and we finally have sun for once. This weekend we camping at Point Farms Provincial Park off of Lake Huron. It's our first time here and the beach is enormous!!! I highly recommend visiting this place as its great for families. White sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see. Water is cold but refreshing with only a little bit of seaweed. The shallow end extends quite far out giving you lots of room to have fun without getting in anyone's way. Bugs aren't too bad either. There is no firewood available within the park but a 30 second drive north outside the park marks a small variety store where you can buy all your camping needs such as fire starters, wood, kindling, and so on. The closest grocery store is about a 20 minute drive south towards Goderich called Zehers. This parks marks our 30th provincial park in Ontario.

Lovely little house. The backyard is truly a treat. Nice country experience close to many amazing beaches. Can't wait to return!

Just what the doctor ordered

This little gem is just out of reach of town but close enough to get whats needed to enjoy being under a starry sky! Enough room outside to keep two little girls happy and room inside to just enjoy watching a movie and relaxing. There are so many different beaches to enjoy along the lake side. Highly recommend and hope more people can enjoy the cottage the way we did.

Nice stay, but needs a good cleaning.

We would have enjoyed our stay if it was cleaner. Spider eggs, cob webs and dead flies in cabinets. We aren’t very picky, but the place was not very clean.

Fundamental Rights Ignored

When u look at the property, you looks for location and amenities trusting the basic necessities like air and water is checked by Verbo before listing. The place had issues with Water, we were asked not to drink. That was fine but the water was stinking, could even be contaminated by sewage line made couple of us ill. We could not bath for 2 days. This was my first booking with Verbo. I doubt I can trust u now though hope the feedback helps improve experience for others.
