"Had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend, staff were all lovely, polite and friendly. Service and food were excellent in the restaurant area. All of the hotel was clean and well kept. The bedroom we had was on the first floor overlooking the garden, very comfortable bed. Good soundproofing, we couldn’t hear anything from the other rooms. Location was good for Chatsworth and Bakewell. Would definitely stay there again "

"This is a great property, in a super location to explore Derbyshire. Our host Amanda was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. From opening the door and exploring the lodge, we were very pleasantly surprised and impressed with the amount of room we had. Clean and comfy all round.The lodge is fantastically equipped with everything you need, to cook a roast if you want! Thoughtful extras, welcome pack, dog blankets, shower gel etc make all the difference.Some great local pubs in Tansley for eating...
