Cottage in ashtabula
Great location. Very comfortable well equipped cottage. 2 bedrooms with one being loft style open to the living space below. Fine for friends sharing. Only thing I’d change is carpeting in the bathroom.

My family decided last minute to spend the night when visiting Geneva-On-the Lake. So happy we decided to stay here. It was very homey! Jeffrey was a great contact with lots of information on the area. Hope to come back again!

Lake Cottage at Billow Beach
We spent 5 days here and it was very relaxing. Jeff does a great job taking care of the cottage. We would suggest to change some of the carpeting with a ceramic tile or linoleum. Also spray a little more for aunts. But We would strongly recommend staying here. Thanks for all you do Jeff.

Wonderful cottage
Had a great time. The cottage was clean and very well kept, pretty close to The strip at Geneva On the Lake, we would walk to the water and watch the beautiful view, had a great time.

Our stay exceeded all of our expectations in every way! The cottage was furnished perfectly with comfortable seating and beds and even snacks to take with us to the weekend car show. It was just a one minute walk to the lake from our door. We found a great lakeside restaurant for the evening that offered local fish which was delicious. We will be back for sure! Thank you!

Great place to stay
House was very clean and well equipped. Just a short walk to see the lake, beautiful sight. Very quiet area. Enjoyed our breakfast and pies from the little pie shop and pizza from the restaurant next door. We were inbetween 2 beaches for swimming. I would recommend this cottage.

Cozy cottage
The only slight problem was finding the house itself. Billow Beach is unmarked and it's easy to miss. We had 2 vehicles, one parked in front of the house, the other at the end of the driveway. I had to contact Jeff to get parking details. The cottage itself is clean, cozy and comfortable. Jeff is an excellent host. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Comfortable Cottage
This was a cozy and pleasant cottage. The location is nice, but the cottages are very close together. There was a nice little deck along one side of the cottage though, and the neighbors we talked to were very pleasant and fun. The only thing that was disappointing was the TV--pretty small, an obstructed view from the couch, and not a lot we could find to watch that didn't require a payment, which we probably couldn't do anyway. It was a quick walk to the waterfront, and although beach access was closed due to erosion, there was a bench we could sit on and look at the lake. It was lovely there! There is a restaurant right next to it--good pizza and salad. All in all, we felt very comfortable and welcomed in this cottage, and had a fun time going to beaches, lighthouses, covered bridges, and Geneva-on-the-Lake. I would stay there again.

Family ladies trip
Small ladies trip to GOTL. This cottage is the cutest. Pictures don’t do it Justice. It’s clean and comfy. The neighbors to the right are so kind and welcoming. Not too far from GOTL strip.

Great Lakeside "Home Base"
Our family had a great few days staying here, and walked down to look out over the lake several times a day. Convenient location for getting to both GOTL and Ashtabula Harbor in minutes. Friendly neighbors and comfortable accommodations.

Wonderful Get-Away!
We had a business stop not too far away, so we found this wonderful place. It was perfect for our weekend. It was clean. Communication was excellent. We found several places to ear during our stay, and we enjoyed all of them. Even though it was off season, it was such a wonderful place to stay. The owners have a nice treasure in this place. ❤️

Only thing we didn't like was the carpet was dirty . Couldn't walk around in your bare feet

What a super getaway and a nice private setting.
Jeff, the owner kept us in the loop about everything and every step of the way to make sure that everything went smoothly. What a beautiful as well taken care of and then a private setting. Quiet, nice neighbors and everything you could need for your visit with there all the linens and tiles, complementary coffee and snacks and cupboards, full of dishes, cups mugs, etc. etc. we have an amazing time, and we would love to rent off of Jeff again, thank you Jeff for all you did for us to make a wonderful and memorable weekend

Great stay
Our stay was great! It was wonderful to have a landing pad while visiting family. There were only two oddities. The first was the fan in the bathroom didn't seem to function, but since it was just our family we left the door cracked. The other was the door lock was a bit tricky with the code, you had to pull the door toward you while putting the code in or the lock wouldn't move. But both were easy to look over with the comfort, location, and amenities available.

Cute cottage
We were in the area for a family celebration for our nephew who is getting married. My husband’s family has a house near GOTL, but it was full and we had our dog, so wanted a place nearby. This was perfect! The weather during our visit was terrible - cold, windy and rainy. So much so we did not even walk down the short path nearby this cottage to see the lake. Glad to have a snug and comfy place to be. Very welcoming, thoughtful host. Would definitely stay again!

The pictures online make it look like this cottage is right on the lake. It's actually a block from it so there's no view, but it's still a great place to stay. It's clean and had everything we could have wanted.

Perfect Little Cottage for a Getaway
My girlfriend and I rented for a quick 2 night getaway to do some beach glass hunting on Lake Ontario and have a bit of relaxation. Jeff’s cottage was perfect. Next time we have to stay longer so we can hit some wineries. 😊

Booked for quick get-away. The cottage was as presented—clean, comfortable, close to everything, and well appointed. (Actually, the pictures didn’t do it justice). Owner communicated well and quickly answered any questions we had up to and including during the stay. Only complaint is our schedule didn’t allow for a longer visit! Will definitely book again.

First time staying in a cottage.
I was concerned at first staying at someone's property but after arriving all my doubts were relieved. The cottage was spacious, in a very nice quiet location, and very cozy. Alexa was found throughout the cottage which I thought was pretty cool and there were AC units available to keep ourselves cool if we needed it. Overall it was a great experience.

My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway and this place was in a great location! Super clean, so nice, quiet neighborhood, close to anything you’d want to go do, local restaurants were great! The home was cozy and felt just like home away from home. They had everything we could’ve needed provided for us as well which was a great perk to not have to worry about packing anything extra. We will definitely return to this house and area. Thank you for helping us to have such a great trip!

Unique cozy vacation home that could use easy upgrades
Pros: efficient easy check in. Excellent communication with host. quiet. Not busy, good privacy. Good view of lake from community bluff, benches were always available. Decent pet facility. Good coffee maker, refrig. Good parking. Plenty of towels. Value priced. Cons: Needs weeds removed from front. Steps to-- and configuration of --entrance a bit difficult to negotiate. Too many clutter decorations--some are good for ambiance, but usable surfaces are edged out with unnecessary items, too many pillows on bed. TV was disappointing in limited programs and access. Ants in the kitchen, exterminator arrived while we were there to spray outside--not a disaster, but really inconvenient to keep pet safe.

Pros: convenient to GOTL and public beach, decorated nicely, quiet Cons: dog hair everywhere, dishes and pots/pans were dirty (had to wash before using), no lake view (walked down lane to look at lake but felt we were in someone else's yard invading their privacy)
