Normandy adventure

Our stay in this home was perfect. The location made seeing the sites easy. The living space was comfortable , the beds comfy and the outside space is so interesting to view the beaches. The changing tide was amazing. My only suggestion would be to perhaps upgrade the outdoor table and chairs.

Beautiful location!

We all loved staying at Rima’s beachside property. It was the perfect addition to a multi generational Normandy landing beaches stay. We liked grilling b out, eating on the terrace and taking advantage of many excellent guided tours of the DDay sights. Rima has the most comfortable beds and the linens were the finest. The only drawback was the dishwasher which is nearing expiration. Other than that, a perfect stay!

Fabulous property and location to see Normandy

The layout of the home was a bit odd - in that the toilets are actually "in" 2 of the bedrooms. Although it was a bit of a surprise at first, we adapted! The space was outstanding and very roomy. The kitchen was well equipped and beautiful. But the deck on Gold Beach was just incredible. The feeling we had when we first walked out on it and saw the mulberries right there, it was heart wrenching. We enjoyed this property immensely! We were 3 couples traveling together. I hope to return one day!

Amazing Asnelles

Absolutely brilliant house in Asnelles. Directly on Gold Beach - so perfect for exploring the D-Day landing museums and memorials but also perfect for just having fun on the beach. House was clean and extremely well stocked with all the necessary items - from dishwasher tabs to washing powder. Would highly recommend!

Normandy Exploration

Our stay was fantastic. The owner was very responsive, delightful, and prompt in his responses. The house was immaculate, great beds, a very well equipped kitchen & you just can not beat the location right on Gold Beach. The back deck was the perfect spot to end the day after exploring the historical sites in Normandy. We are a group of very tall Americans - with that in mind, be aware that there are a couple areas in the house when you may need to duck to avoid whacking your head. We absolutely give the location and the owner 5 stars.

Emplacement magnifique mais la maison nécessite de l'entretien

La maison est parfaitement située, confortable, originale, bien équipée. Par contre l'entretien laisse à désirer : le jardinet coté cour n'est pas entretenu, mauvaises herbes et deux caisses de bouteilles vides trainent. L'accueil autonome est une bonne solution si il est accompagné d'un livret d'accueil, mais il n'y en a pas. Aucune info sur le fonctionnement de la maison, le ramassage des ordures, les marchés locaux ... L'immense velux principal pouvant donner vue sur la mer depuis la chambre du premier étage était en panne fermé. Le gestionnaire a répondu qu'il n'y avait pas de solution et lorsque on a voulu échanger avec le propriétaire cela n'a pas été possible. Aux vues des photos, c'était un argument important pour le choix de cette maison. Le propriétaire devrait utiliser parfois la maison afin de se rendre compte des défauts d'usage qui s'accumulent : mitigeur de la douche de l'étage défaillant (eau brulante), mobilier de jardin et parasol fatigué, canapé déchiré. Enfin le wifi passe trÚs mal. Tous ces petits défauts sont désagréables compte tenu du prix de la location qui laissait supposer (tout comme les photos) que la maison est irréprochable.

Nous avons passĂ© un merveilleux sĂ©jour dans cette magnifique villa idĂ©alement placĂ©e, si proche de la mer pour admirer les marĂ©es soit de l’intĂ©rieur, ou de la superbe terrasse ! Rien devant nous, juste la mer 
 inoubliable et exceptionnel 
 La villa est extrĂȘmement bien Ă©quipĂ©e, c’est trĂšs beau et tout est bien pensĂ© pour le confort et le bien-ĂȘtre. Nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir et nous recommandons vivement ! (juste une petite remarque, la prĂ©sence de petites marches ici et lĂ  pour accĂ©der aux diffĂ©rents niveaux intĂ©rieurs ne sont pas adaptĂ©es Ă  de jeunes enfants ni personnes ĂągĂ©es fragiles).

Schön, aber winzig

Wunderbare Lage direkt am Meer, die Beschreibung ist aber mehr als ungenau. Es hieß, es sei Platz fĂŒr 8 Personen, am Esstisch waren nur 6 PlĂ€tze, in die Sitzecke passen auf keinen Fall mehr als 6 Personen. Der Architekt hat offensichtlich lange geknobelt, wie er den Platz am besten ausnutzt. Es hieß, die Badezimmer seien en Suite der Schlafzimmer, normalerweise ist da eine TĂŒr dazwischen, hier kann man sich aussuchen, ob man im Schlafzimmer duscht oder im Badezimmer schlĂ€ft. In einem Schlafzimmer steht die Toilette direkt neben dem Bett. Jetzt verstehe ich auch, warum kein Grundriss in der Anzeige zu sehen ist. Bei schlechtem Wetter ist es definitiv zu eng. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert und schnell, der defekte GeschirrspĂŒler wurde sofort ausgetauscht, die KĂŒche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt keine Liegen auf der Terrasse , SitzplĂ€tze jedoch ausreichend. Das Preis-Leistungs- VerhĂ€ltnis stimmt nicht: fĂŒr das Platzangebot und die Aufteilung viel zu teuer.
