Great Condo, Great Location

My husband and I went to Aspen Food & Wine with another couple, and we were very happy with our condo! It was spacious, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked. The location was extremely easy to walk to our events and just across from the St. Regis Hotel. Communication was great with the manager, and I highly recommend this place.

Great In Town Location

Very comfortable ski condominium. Easy walk to lifts and restaurants. Full kitchen with very convenient parking. Easy owner communication. Highly recommend!

Great place, perfect location

Walking distance to everything we needed. Spent most of the trip working around town, but it was so nice to have a short walk back to the condo, rather than have to drive out of town. Wish we could have spent more time enjoying the property and the amenities.

Prime Aspen Stay

This property was perfect for a friend trip to Aspen (group of 5). In addition to ample bathroom/bedroom/common area space and comfortable beds, the property has a great location (within 3 blocks to bars, restaurants, and gondola). Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

We were in town for a wedding and the condo is located perfectly within walking distance of everything. The owner was wonderful to work with and communication was prompt. The condo was comfortable too. We recommend this property!

Long weekend in Aspen

We had a wonderful stay in Aspen and the condo was perfect for our family of 5. The location was excellent, we walked everywhere! Our children especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub! We would absolutely recommend this unit and stay here again.

Cozy place, convenient location

Had a great time staying at Akram’s place. The place is in a perfect location - just 5 min walk to the Aspen mountain base and also 5 min to the Rubey Park bus station where you can take free shuttles to Snowmass, Buttermilk, or Highlands. Very easy walk into town too.

Very convenient place to stay in Aspen

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. Even in the summer when it’s warm in Aspen, the condo didn’t get too hot because it’s on a lower level and protected by shade. The condo is convenient to downtown, making it easy to get to all the restaurants and shops. The beds and bedding were comfortable too.

A++ location, great condo, perfect stay

Wonderful condo- pictures don't do it justice. The owner was very responsive and check-in, check-out was a breeze. We love the location and also the ease of access to the pool with a cute patio outside. We had a quick stay, but will certainly be back for longer next time! Thank you so much!

Overall great stay and vicinity to the event we were going to was perfect! The clothes dryer was new, but couldn’t get it to work. We were advised that the filter needed to be cleaned after each use, which we did (all three) but still had little luck with it. More towels provided would have been nice, a scrubber/sponge for kitchen also would have appreciated and the half eaten salad left in the fridge should have been removed. But, overall would recommend, value was good.

Great location + unit for 4

Very enjoyable unit for our family of 4. Aside from a few small hick-ups (remote for main TV was MIA so could not really use it/clothes dryer was not working properly and would not get hot to dry clothes/hot tub jets were not working but the hot tub was hot) our communication with the owner was fantastic. Check-in and reporting issues were addressed immediately as best as could be. The complex is in unbeatable location and steps from mountain and downtown Aspen. We will definitely try and rent the unit again next season.

Pros: This basement condo is in a fantastic location! Almost can’t beat it because you are able to walk everywhere! Pool and hot tub are right outside the back door of this condo, which is so nice. The owner was great to work with and fast to respond. He let us check in early and stay late which is a huge help! Cons! It’s in the basement. The condo is very dark, small and quite used. There is zero view of beautiful Aspen! I wanted to spend as little time in the condo as possible. Who wants to sit in a dark room when it’s so beautiful outside?? The carpets are badly stained and old and need replaced. They are pulling away from the wall and the space between the wall and carpet is very dirty. There was no broom or vacuum in the condo. I have kids. Kids drop crumbs. Cleaning the crumbs on hands and knees is not fun in a dirty place. The bedding was stained and cheap. White bedding with stains is pretty gross. The fridge was not working the first day. It was 54 degrees. I notified the owner and he was going to send a repairman out the next day. The fridge started working. Looks like this fridge has had issues for several years based on other reviews so make sure it’s working before loading it up with food. The sink was leaking in the kitchen underneath. The place is overall dirty and needs a deep clean. There were old tissues and water bottles behind the night stand in the master. The walls are dingy. The master shower was dirty and full of hair on the walls after my daughter tried to take a bath. The second shower is very small....Probably 2.5 ft by 2.5 ft. A little love and money invested back into this condo would go along way! It desperately needs some!! New carpet and new bedding would help make this place great again!

Very Disappointed

We've rented from vrbo for many years and never had a problem. This condo is in a great location very close to town. It was very clean when we arrived on a Wednesday but the refrigerator wasn't working . We texted and called the landlord, Nada, who checked and said repairman couldn't be there until the following Tuesday. I told Nada that was not acceptable especially since we stopped for groceries on the way to Aspen and didn't want to toss $150 worth of food. I asked that she rent us a small unit until fridge was repaired . She emailed back "thanks for your understanding" and completely ignored my request which is what she did for all issues. I wrote I was not being understanding and asked again for her to rent small fridge but was ignored. After threatening to sue her for misrepresentation miraculously a repairman showed up. Then we discovered sink in second bedroom was completely stopped up and unusable since the water would overflow onto the floor. Texted and called Nada (who never picks up the phone) and explained the situation and was told repairman would arrive next day but he never did. Then toilet was stopped up. Repairman came, toilet worked one day then stopped up again. We gave up, closed door and just didn't use that bathroom. Here's the biggest problem - one evening at 10:30 we returned to the condo and couldn't get in as the lockbox didn't work. Called and texted Nada but no response until 2:30 am which we didn't see until next morning. We had to go elsewhere to sleep! The next day the lockbox had to be changed to a new one. I asked Nada for a credit for the one night we couldn't get in and was told no. The problem here is that landlord manages the unit herself and does not take care of problems and there were the same problems with several renters. Landlord will refute this review saying I'm unreasonable especially since she gave me a good price cause I made last minute reservation which is true. However, good price doesn't mean things shouldn't be in working order. There's no advantage to me by writing this review . Just trying to save someone else the aggravation after spending their money for a vacation- good deal or not.
