Everything was great! From cleanliness of the house, to location and to the house being beautifully decorated and having comfortable beds! We had a lovely time, thanks for letting us stay at your charming house. It was one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had!!!😊
House is fantastic. Plenty of room, updated, great hosts, what else there to say? We were here on a work trip and should we be back, we will definitely stay here again!
Our second time staying here was just as great as the first time! Everything you need to feel right at home. 3 levels for kids to spread out and a fully stocked play room!
Another great stay at this beautiful home during Benedictine Homecoming
This is the second year of renting this house during Benedictine Homecoming and it did not disappoint! the home is beautiful and the size was perfect. We hope to come back next year.
This was a beautiful place to stay. We had space for all our children and grand children. The hosts lived next store and were available as needed. The place was gorgeous and newly remodeled. They had everything we needed.
It’s always nice to stay at this home. It is very clean, which we appreciate so much! We’ve stayed several times. The owners, Marty and Kerry, are extremely helpful, easy to communicate with and have taken very good care of this home. We will stay again!
We were in town for family weekend at BC. The house is close to campus, which was a bonus. The house was so well decorated and updated. From the moment you walk in, you know you’ve picked a good house!
Comfortable and welcoming. And the neighborhood cats are nice hosts! Everyone in the family had amble space to feel settled, and the basement allowed us to gather together.
Deferred (from Aug) mini family reunion including seldom seen relatives and on-going genealogical research. Found every comfort needed in a family - friendly house. Very well done renovation and tasteful decor.Fast computer connection and cable. Well provisioned with non-perishables and every modern appliance. Will gladly recommend this house to any responsible group.
We loved our stay here. The house is fantastic. There was plenty of room for our large family to spread out. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen as well as on the gas grill outside. Everyone had a space to relax. I especially enjoyed the outdoor space. In addition, the house is beautifully decorated. Marty and Kerry were very helpful. They reached out when our son left something behind. We look forward to renting this home again.
The house looks small outside but it is mighty inside. Four bedrooms and three baths on three floors. Ample gathering space for our family in the open living/dining/ kitchen areas. The house is in excellent condition and extremely clean. It is full of charm from the "old Atchison" mail cabinet to the charming 33/45 record player with albums to the over the top coffee bar complete with flavors to add to the coffee. It was a very nice experience. It could use better pictures on line.
This is a great place for families! We stayed here while celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Benedictine College. Very comfortable. Quiet and friendly neighborhood.. Great hosts too..
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is more spacious that I expected from the pictures. Plenty of room to spread out! The beds are super comfortable! We were in town on a business trip and it was so nice to have a "home" to go to every night. We will definitely stay again!
This is a beautiful home!! Very spacious and clean. I would most definitely recommend this house for anyone staying in Atchison!
The only callout is that there were cats that lived the property as well.
We had a Halloweekend get together with some of our closest friends. The house was charming, and no detail was left unnoticed in the design. This home was perfect for the 6 of us, and we had great space to gather, laugh, relax, and catch up. We will definitely consider again.

This is perfect spot to help any family feel like they have stepped to a beautifully restored home. The owners have done an amazing job of thinking about all the extras that make a short stay feel like you are in the comfort of your own place. We loved the restoration in the home and how they have used so many vintage items from the old and incorporated them into the modern decor and design. It was great mix of history and modern convenience in things such as lighting a bluetooth speakers in the bathrooms. If you are in the area please find a way to stay in the beautiful home...our family was very impressed and highly recommend.
We went to visit our daughter at Benedictine and this house is amazing. We had such a wonderful stay. Kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked dinners and brunch and the house had everything we needed. There were tons of toys in the basement for our little kids to play with and my husband and teenage son loved the record player! The sound was great and we had fun listening to the various records. The house was very clean, bedrooms were great and beds comfortable. Bathrooms were modern and her clean and showers were great too. Location was perfect, close to campus and grocery stores. Also a park only one block away. We would love to stay again!!
Perfect house with great space and plenty of amenities!
The house was in fantastic shape and was very clean and welcoming on a quiet street. The space was laid out very well for a diverse group with a cool basement area that had its own bedroom, bathroom, and sitting area to watch tv away from the rest of the group. The 2 bedrooms on the main floor shared a bathroom and were right off the kitchen and there were two more beds upstairs in the attic/loft area. We were able to spread out and feel like we had tons of private space even though the house is relatively small.
All of the details were thought through and there was plenty of dishes, plates, and other items needed on a trip that were already stocked in the house. We didn't need to buy anything for our weekend stay. I would highly recommend this home when visiting Atchison and will definitely stay here again when we come back!
We were bringing our family together in Atchison for Thanksgiving and this proved to be a great place: lots of room, comfortable, and three floors meant that we could separate for a zoom meeting, reading or a nap, and gather for meals or watching the World Cup.
