This hotel came up as close to Athens airport. NOT AT ALL It pops up as a three star. NOT AT ALL. While not terrible very disappointed in distance between airport and here.

Nice! Staff. So so rooms
Needed a place to stay overnight for early flight out of Athens. Our taxi driver had trouble finding it. The hotel staff were very accommodating and kind. However, the room was stale and musty z and beds were hard. We didn't have a chance to get breakfast or check out the grounds as we had an early flight out.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
I left the hotel at midnight to find another hotel to spend the night at. Thankfully there was another hotel next door Mati Hotel with availability and the same price. Mati was accommodating and all staff very nice. We were badly bitten and have several large welts. The hotel is very run down and nothing like the Expedia site shows.

Attica beach is a nice hotel right on the beach
Attica beach is a nice hotel right on the beach. Furniture and hotel is somewhat old, but excellent service provided by the staff. We checked out at 5:00 AM to catch our flight and hotel staff went out of the way to provide us included free breakfast at 4:45 AM instead of their normal breakfast timings. Our room had excellent location with full view of the sea from balcony. There are a couple of restaurants in less than 5 minutes walking distance in addition to hotel's own restaurant. EVA restaurant right across the hotel is good. Hotel is close from the Athens airport (it took 22 minutes to reach airport). This is a nice hotel for the per night of rate of 55 Euros.

If you need Wi-Fi ACCESS - DO NOT STAY HERE
The hotel manager tried to be helpful with the Wi-Fi but it basically stinks. Slow and easily overwhelmed by use of more than 1 person it seemed. Couldn't have been more than 25 people staying there when I was there - and still the network was so slow that it was basically worthless. I wrestled with it for 4 hours and then gave up. I even paid a discounted rate for an additional room closer to the router to work from. It worked for a few hours and then got slow again. I guess when other guests started logging on after dinner, etc. Cab driver from the airport ripped us off and went the long way to get there - 50 Euros instead of 25 Euros it cost to go back to the airport. Much quicker route the way back as well. Print out a google map to show your airport cabbie how to go the shorter way.

Beautiful grounds, dirty room
The hotel lobby, grounds, and location are great, but the rooms (or at least our room) was really dirty. The beds were hard, the carpet worn and dirty, the shower curtain and shower were so dirty that we didn't even take a shower. Huge spiderweb around mirror in bathroom, weird orangish stain on the sheets. We are really easy to please and not snobby at all, but we felt really uncomfortable here. But like I said, the outside area and the lobby were really pretty, just wish the rooms were like that too.

The title says it all really. Its smell, grubby and run down. You can't expect much for the price being offered but really??? We got the first cab out of there.

We've been to Mati before, at another location. This one is nice enough, nothing extra, rooms are typical of the older properties around Greece that are not up scale or new! Decent but needs upgrading!

A Hotel located on the beach with a minimart and lovely Greek restaurants located across the road. The lift would not pass International OSH standards but otherwise a reasonable stay.

A basic hotel with fabulous views and positioned near to the airport (about 20 minutes) - but be careful - google maps directed us to the admin side of the airport and we then needed to travel a further 15 minutes around the perimeter of the airport to reach departures area and car rental return.

Nice hotel close to the beach
It was nice to stay there. In general it was fine. Nice place to relax and rest. Good transport to Athens by bus. To the airport - by taxi or by taxi to Rafina and then by bus to the airport.

Oldies but not goldies!
We stayed for one night because we needed someplace close to Rafina Port. The hotel is old and not well mantained, but is clean and has a nice view. The price for the room is too big for what you get in exchange , the sheets were broken, the AC did not had a cap and the door of the balcony was not closing right. Everything was very rundown and i would not recommend this place unless you dont have any other options.

Satistactory hotel next to the Beach
The staff, or should I say the single gentleman who assisted me during my stay was extremely gracious and helpful. I believe I was the only one at the hotel due to the time of year. One has a great view of the beach and the hotel is at least acceptable, though a few years old. The location is excellent for many reasons and only about 30 to 35 minutes from the airport depending on traffic. I was glad I stayed.

We had trouble finding it. Is it possible to provide directions from the airport in English at the time of booking? Breakfast and the proprietor were wonderful View outstanding.

a basic, clean hotel with a lovely view of the sea
This is basic hotel,clean but a bit run down,a bit far from the airport and downtown Athens,but the view from the balcony of the Aegean Sea is magnificent. A 1 hour bus ride to downtown.Staff,especially Dimitri at the front desk,were wonderful.

Very good chill out place. Great staff very friendly. So easy to relax here. Pool at the bottom overlooking the sea. 20 steps to the sea and a bar with food and seating right on the waterfront. Restaurants across the road. A nice way to get introduced to the Greek lifestyle.

Stop between Raffina Port and the airport.
The hotel far away from Athens but convenient to Raffina Port and not far from the airport. Stayed for only 9 hours between our ferry ride from Mykonos to our flight back home. The hotel is very basic and met our minimum expectations. Given it was not an expensive hotel I guess we got what we paid for.

It was a quick overnight, so not much chance to explore. Room was fine; nothing special, but then neither are most Athens hotels. It did have a lovely big balcony which overlooked the swimming pool and ocean; that would have been a big deal to us if we'd had longer! The pool was a good size, plenty sunbeds & shade around it. The neighbourhood seems like a nice, quiet area. A couple of little tavernas opposite, low-key & friendly. As we normally stay around the Kalamaki / Glyfada area, it was a pleasant contrast not to have the raging traffic noise! However, it should be noted that the distance from Athens airport stated online is VERY misleading. 8km or so...? Perhaps how the seagull flies - but certainly not any roads! It took us 30-40 mins to get there, even late at night. OK, it didn't help that a grumpy taxi driver had no clue where he was going (we had to use Google Maps on my ipad); but still, it's NOT close-and-easy for a quick airport run. Apart from that, the guy on the check-in desk was very friendly (in the face of by-now-also-grumpy) arrivals; the rest of the staff were pleasant too. If we were travelling via Rafina, we'd stay there again.

It is a beautiful place to stay if you want a great view on the Aegean sea. The pool was clean and the beach too. Unfortunately,the hotel is not very confortable and it does not seem very clean. There is not double or queen beds so if you are a couple you'll be sleeping it two twins beds side by side. It is a 40 mins ride from Athens and 30 min ride from the airport. There is nothing to do or to visit around the hotel so it is really for resting and for staying there unless you have a car. There are good restaurants around but the buffet of the hotel it is good, a little too salty but good. The service was very very good. The people that work there speak very good french and english.

Awesome staff
The hotel was convenient to the airport (about 20 minutes away) and the hotel staff was stellar. They were so helpful finding us a pharmacy on a Sunday and helping with our car. The room was comfortable and the shower was great - lots of pressure. The pool is lovely and the beach is fine, though small.

Hotel a short (€7) taxi ride from Rafina Port
We used the hotel for one night on arrival in Athens and before beginning an island hopping holiday in the Cyclades. The only drawback was a wedding reception (with a band) on the hotel next door which went on until dawn!

Badly in need of renovation
The hotel felt as if it were semi-abandoned. It really needs a face lift. The carpeting was stained and old, the sheets were thin and frayed, the shower curtain was missing several rings and was also fairly grubby. We asked to use the seimming pool, which was chained off, and the receptionist said that would be fine, but on closer inspection none of us wanted to go in as it was green and full of dead bugs, there seemed to be no filter working.

Attica, a great find!
We had an emergency situation & needed to stay near the Athens international airport. The nearest hotel was simply out of the question price wise. We had stayed in nearby Mati many times before but had never tried the Attica hotel. The price more than met our budget. Our room was very clean and the service was wonderful. The view of the ocean you could not get in some top-of-the-line hotels!! With breakfast included and a wonderful host you cannot go wrong with this hotel. They bend over backwards for their guests and the surroundings are gorgeous!

Wir waren auf der Durchreise
Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, da wir auf der Durchreise waren. Freundlicher Empfang, schnelle Abwicklung. Zimmer sind einfach aber gut eingerichtet. Transfer zum Flughafen der vom Hotel organisiert war, klappte super.
