I stayed in a single room and it was excellent for one person. The neighborhood doesn’t look the best, but I felt completely safe. The entire bathroom is part of the shower, which is interesting. I would stay there again.

Our stay at Athens Hawk was simply wonderful. As seniors who had never stayed in a hostel before, we were a bit skeptical, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was available for 5.00 euros per person. The roof top bar was awesome with fantastic views of the city and Acropolis. Everywhere was within walking distance or transit. We had an amazing time

I found the staff helpful and welcoming. The rooftop bar is spectacular and had a great view of the Acropolis, especially when it lights up at night. It's not in the greatest area but is within reasonable walking distance to places you'd want to go.
