I would not recommend this hotel. First off, Commerce is not a nice city, it smells like cow manure all through the city. Second off, I felt like this hotel was incredibly unprofessional in their handling of current renovations happening in their hotel. I booked this hotel less than a month ago, yet there was no notice on the website or booking page that this hotel was under serious renovations. The entire front parking lot was blocked off by construction, there were tarps lining the hallways and entrance, and there was no basic services (water, ice, breakfast, pool, fitness center) that were promised upon booking. When we arrived, the front desk lady asked us "I assume you didn't know about the renovations?" Yes, we did not, it would have been a simple phone call or update to the booking page. She then proceeded to ask us "Do you still want to stay here?" At this point, it was 9:00 PM, where else would we stay? The room itself was subpar, it smelled musty, but that's to be expected by the amount of construction going on within the hotel. I'm sure this hotel will be much better once the renovations are complete, but don't bother staying until you can confirm that they are done.

Under construction no access to gym pool laundry there was no breakfast not even signage of where this hotel was construction didn't stop until 7:00 p.m. and started up Sunday morning... don't stay here

This property should not be open. I booked on Expedia & there was no mention of a renovation. I arrived, the front entrance was blocked by delivery boxes with a sign stating, "go around and enter between dumpsters" I walked around, that door was locked, continuing around the building, the door on the side was propped open. I walk in and there's construction going on everywhere. I asked a construction worker where the desk was & he took me to the "office". A very nice woman greeted me as though everything was as normal. I explained I had booked a room, but wasn't aware of any construction. She said I could look at the room, she takes me up to one of the few available rooms & then proceeds to say there would be no coffee, breakfast or any other amenities. She also mentioned that 1/2 of the building had been flooded 2 years ago & they were "working on it". Thankfully Expedia moved me to a nearby hotel. Please update this location to state: Under Construction, NO amenities available. Loud, not safe for women traveling alone as the side door is propped open and there's no visible entrance to see who's coming or going in this property. The Best Western down the street was very nice. Their breakfast was excellent & they had excellent customer service. The linens and towels were very clean. If you are booking in Commerce, go with Best Western. Their breakfast is complimentary and great.
