The Divani Escape was a great place to stay. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful with any question I had. It was the quietest place I had ever stayed and the Free breakfast was the BEST I've ever had. The only negative point was I read that I could use the pool at the Divani Apollo across the street, but was charged €85 which I felt was very expensive.

We were diverted to Athens from Santorini. We had to find accommodations without any guidance. Very lucky to find this spot. Wish we could have explored, but had to fly out at 5am next day. Staff was so kind and we ordered room service. Food excellent. Cocktails great.

Apollon Suites feels like the classy younger sibling to the ginormous Divani Thalasso next door and across the street. Apollon suites felt luxurious, very clean, very accessible, and private - we were able to lounge by the pool a few times, and barely had company, although it is small. Complimentary breakfast 10/10. Area of Vouliagmeni is a dream! Stay here if you want to explore Athens- a dream to come back to after hustle and bustle of the city center. Apollon beach also impressive and just 15💶 per chair. This hotel was our “splurge” of the trip for 2 nights and was ABSOLUTELY worth it.

We liked the service and cleanness of the hotel. One thing that everyone needs to know is their pool is very small and only has 4 lounge chairs. Their brochures, website and even the posters in their elevators show the large pool and beach area but the only access is to pay the extra 39 euros at the Divani Palace. Divani Suits and Davani Palace operate as two separate hotels.

Good for boutique but not on the beach hotel

The hotel is boutique and it lives up to the name. Sadly it is not on the beach hotel and none of the amenities and facilities which the other big Divani Apollo hotel available to the guests free of charge were available to the Escape guests for free. For example you had to pay (extortionate amounts!) for spa or swimming pool or beach facilities which were available only in the other hotel but not this one. It says that it has a pool outside, far from it, it is a puddle overlooking the main street. Great for boutique hotel but missold on amenities, advertising needs updating. If one was to walk on the beach area, there were far more reasonable facilities and well.proced restaurants, that was a great alternative.

Sadly this is a bad review, wish it wasn’t the case. I don’t even know how this hotel is considered 5 star, it’s 4 and that’s a stretch. The room was quite basic, I found hair (short hair, I’d like to not think where it came from!) in my bed. Luckily I was only there for one night. We arrived quite late and ordered food - turkey sandwich and Greek salad. The Greek salad was nice but the turkey sandwich felt like a 5 year old prepared it. It also took 40 minutes to make and when I was checking up on the order the person who responded was extremely rude. One good thing I must mention is the lady who checked us in was so incredibly kind and accommodating and the cleaning lady was sweet - must be said.
