We are honoured to introduce our latest apartment (2023), especially designed to offer comfort for leisure or business trips.
Welcome to the A.U.R.A. Gracious 2-bedroom / 3-bathroom apartment with Balcony.
Let us guide you to the space we have graciously designed for you.
Unlike most of the newest constructions in Athens, we have invested in renewable resources for the entire building: solar energy, geothermal energy, recently replaced by heat pumps. Our aim is to guarantee an absolute heating and cooling effect with full autonomy per apartment, through an under-floor system (for long-term stays) and fan coils in every room for full autonomy per bedroom, plus hot running water at all hours, and the heating of the swimming pool at the rooftop during the winter season (exclusively for guests at the A.U.R.A. Penthouse).
Visitors’ comments for all A.U.R.A. properties primarily focus on three major advantages: Quality accommodation, ideal location and a hospitable host/owner supported by an admirable team. What follows explains why.
The apartment’s description:
The A.U.R.A. Gracious Apartment with balcony is situated on the 1st floor (2nd for U.S.) and is served by an elevator. There are 2 comfortable bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 ensuite and 1 next to the living room). Please note that both bedrooms can be set as either king size or two single beds and are large enough to accommodate an extra single bed.
In the spacious living room, another sofa bed may also accommodate 1-2 persons. Guests are kindly requested to define their desired bedding arrangements and we will be happy to have them prepared accordingly. Please note that the bedding arrangements provided on this listing relate to the maximum capacity (suitable for up to eight guests).
The kitchen area connecting to the living area and large dining table is convenient for homemade meals.
An inviting balcony offers a lovely view over the street’s life as a theatrical scene overlooking Athenians passing by to enjoy a drink, or meal in one of the neighborhood’s hip spots. An electric piano is also added for small musical gatherings, always with respect to the quiet hours which prevail in Greece.
All rooms have separate A/C, and the apartment is quite spacious, offering guests’ autonomy and privacy which are so valuable during traveling, even for the closest group members.
Other things to note: • To further complement our guests’ comfort we have created a privately owned and secure storage facility just across our building’s entrance. No need to worry about early arrivals into Athens or late departures as it may be accessed by code. • Parking is offered on the premises, upon request and based on availability. • Elevator is serving all floors, no stairs at the entrances. • The booking rate is for four guests. There is an extra charge of 40€ per guest / per night. This policy was judged as being to the advantage of smaller and larger groups. Prospective guests are requested to include the final number of guests in their inquiry.
New taxes were introduced in Greece recently, for all reservations made after 01.01.2024. As a result the total booking price is affected. More specifically; • A 13% V.A.T. is added to the booking price. • A Transient Occupancy Tax (0.75%) is included in the booking price for all reservations made before September 25th, 2025. • A Climate Crisis Resilience Fee (0.50€ or 1.50€ / per night depending on the season), is required to be paid at the end of the stay. - As per January 1st, 2025 the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is modified from 0.50€ to 2€ and from 1.50€ to 8€ and is included in the total booking price for all reservations made between December 1st, 2024 and September 25th, 2025.
• The apartment fits up to 8 visitors by adding an extra single bed in the 2 bedrooms and having two people in the sofa bed. For preferred bedding accommodation please refer to the following name codes: Akrokeramus for the living room (sofa bed), Mosaic for bedroom 1 (king size or singles), Rodax for bedroom 2 (king size or singles). • Quiet hours prevail in Greece by law are between 14:30-17:30 and 22:00-07:30 which all citizens need to respect. By booking this property guests are confirming that they are aware of the house rules and agree to respect them.

My friends and I stayed for a few days and absolutely loved it. The hosts are incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. The apartment was beautiful, clean and very accessible. It's within walking distance from most sites and the train station nearby makes it easy to get to and from the airport. Thank you for having us!
The apartment was lovely, large, sunlit, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Location was good, safe and easy walk to many sites and neighborhoods. Metro was close by too. Plenty of restaurants, grocery shopping and bakeries in the neighborhood. Marianne was a great host. She even helped us arrange private transfers from the cruise port and to the airport. We'd definitely stay again when in Athens.
We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and clean apartment! The layout is perfect for groups or families, with three bathrooms and showers ensuring there was never any wait. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook a meal and the cozy living areas made relaxing after a day of exploring so enjoyable.The neighborhood is quaint and quiet, offering a true local feel while still being conveniently close to everything we needed.Our host Marianne was very helpful. She arranged transportation from the airport and to our ship after our stay. She also showed us how to get around on a map. Would absolutely recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again!
This is by far the best VRBOs we have stayed in. Marianne made the reservation and check in process flawless. She set up our transportation from the airport. The apartment was spotless. She was kind enough to help with an early checking. It is a big apartment with a lovely balcony. We loved sitting outside watching the people on the street. Beds are comfortable and the showers were great. The location is perfect; it is on the cutest street and many great restaurants within a short walking distance. Also, the grocery store is around the block. It is a perfect location. We absolutely loved our stay and are so thankful for Marianne's help and assistance. Book this apartment.
This stunning and stylish apartment is second only to the host herself – Marianne – who is both lovely and amazing. This space is truly special – an open concept that is spacious but cozy, modern but comfortable. It has every amenity needed, including a balcony overlooking the charming street below; the 2 bedrooms had their own private bathrooms plus there’s a third bathroom, air conditioning throughout, and lots of light through the 2 large sliding glass doors in the living areas. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment was very quiet. The location was ideal, on a beautiful quiet street a mere 12 or so minutes’ walk to the Acropolis and Parthenon and very near many other historical landmarks. Monastiraki Square and Flea Market is also a similar walk away, chocked full of small shops with a myriad of Greek treasures. And everywhere along the way are restaurants galore where you can stop in for a coffee or cocktail and a bite. Marianne has a printout of things you need to know about the apartment along with lots of information for things like grocery stores, pharmacy, coffee shops, restaurants. It was SO helpful. She was also quick to answer questions or help with a need. She even had space for us to store our luggage upon checkout because we had a later flight. This space is a JEWEL. Whenever we might have a chance to return, we will ABSOLUTELY be coming back. THANK YOU, Marianne for your unmatched hospitality. It was a sincere pleasure!!
This apartment is in the perfect location! We loved being able to cross the street and have coffee and pastries at Artopoleion in the morning and go to Agape for drinks at night. There are many great restaurants all along Irakleidon street and beyond the immediate neighborhood. We also enjoyed walking to Dimou bakery a block from the apartment. The apartment was exactly as pictured in the listing. It’s a spacious apartment with updated bedrooms and bathrooms. It was very convenient to have a washing machine in the entry space and I was happy with using the drying rack on the balcony. Our hostess, Marianne, and her assistant, Eva, were very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. I would absolutely recommend staying here!
