This was a great deal and I was really impressed with the room and staff. If I should ever find myself back in Athens I would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay here. It was in such a convenient location and we could walk to anything we needed to. The service was great and Katerina was so helpful when we needed anything including transportation.
Super friendly staff and really spacious room. The area was fantastic, close to the centre but with a local vibe of small restaurants and shops. The room was a bit loud but not unexpected for a central hotel, we would stay again!
A+ for hospitality! The location is terrific, just three blocks from the Acropolis museum and entrance to the historic site. Convenient to Plaka, but not as overrun with tourists.
The hotel was located in a very nice neighborhood with lots of good food and coffee. Many of the must see places were in walking distance. The room was clean and very neat with industrial style. It was practical to have a kitchenette in the room. The only relatively bad thing was the beds were too soft, that sometimes it felt uncomfortable to sleep. We stayed for five nights and our overall experience was quite nice. Thanks for hosting us in the lovely city of Athens.
It was a nice brief stay, everything was nice and clean; easy to access. Very accommodating for a family of 4, close to the ruins.
Tourist tip: Arrange transportation prior to arrival or book thru uber. Don’t trust airport taxis.
What a great find! The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable, and a beautiful blend of ancient Greece (the walls are rough stone) with chic modern. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and tremendously helpful. They also speak fluent English. Location is great- 10 minute walk to the Acropolis and Plaka. A gem- stay here and enjoy!

Value for Money
Excellent location right next to Acropolis, very kind hosts and helpdesk. Rooms large and clean. Reception works until 6.
Exceptional Service and a Memorable Stay, plus good location!
I had the pleasure of staying at Cohart Koukaki recently and was absolutely impressed by the level of service provided. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely caring.
The check-in process was smooth, the room was spotless and well-prepared, and any requests I had were handled promptly with a smile.
It’s rare to experience such consistent hospitality across all touchpoints, and it truly made my trip unforgettable. I would highly recommend Cohart Koukaki to anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a place to feel valued and cared for.
I did most of my traveling in my 20s, staying in hostels and following a Lonely Planet guide. Now in my 40s with a young family, I was delighted to find Cohort Koukaki provided all the fun and awesomeness from those days, but in a beautiful room with comfortable beds and at a still reasonable price. The hotel is uniquely gorgeous, with a hip lobby that captures that hostel feel, mostly because of the friendly staff. The rooms are amazing—spacious and cozy with dreamily high ceilings. Best of all is the location. Right on the edge of the touristy Plaka, you’re within 5-min walking distance of the Acropolis and some of the best dining in Athens. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Athens!
I found myself thoroughly impressed by the blend of comfort, convenience, and community that this hotel offers. From the spacious and well-equipped room to the vibrant atmosphere of the hotel's cafe, my experience was nothing short of fantastic.
What truly set Cohort Koukaki apart for me was the "Smoky Thursday" event hosted by the hotel during my stay. This event not only added an extra layer of excitement to my visit but also provided a unique opportunity to connect with local community members.
I highly recommend Cohort to anyone seeking a similar experience and i look forward to staying with them again.
This is a very nice property with a wonderful staff. It’s steps away from nicest parts of Athens and really convenient to everything. Our room was more like a small one bedroom apartment, with separate kitchen/dining area, living room, and bedroom. There are also huge private balcony outside the living room and kitchen. The things that could be better is air conditioning. It gets very humid inside the room if you use the shower and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, and the front desk staff were really helpful and friendly.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Make no mistake this is an excellent place to stay in Athens! Great staff, big room, FANTASTIC shower and a really nice vibe.
For me, the bed was too soft (ok, way too soft for me!).
If you like a mattress on the softer side, then this place would rate Excellent!
WOW, what a gem! Clean, excellent location, amazing people that work here. Elena made our stay memorable and was very helpful! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is travelling.
