Loved our stay! Big shout-out to Shay at the front desk — super friendly and helpful, even kept our bags safe so we could explore. Lots of great food nearby and walking distance to all the main spots!

Old 100 year old hotel- was great in the 1950s. Now a budget downtown hotel only 3 blocks from Peachtree Center.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, has a balcony. Right in the heart of downtown Atlanta so it is within walking distance of several stores and shops. It is a hundred year old building so we couldn't control the heat or air in the room individually. Meaning the building hear was on so that all you got is you turned the system on in the room. The breakfast was average based on what most breakfast options are offered in other hotels we've stayed in. They had scrambled eggs, sausage patties, grits, biscuits and sausage gravy, toast, muffins, Danish, cereals and milk, yogurt, and of course the best part the make your own waffles. Overly, it is worth the stay!

Bed was terrible you could feel every spring, pillows were flat, ac did not keep room at a comfortable temperature it was very warm sleeping. There was 2 roaches in the bathroom. Shower curtain smelled, and shower head was clogged or something so terrible water pressure. Tv barely worked, most channels could not get signal. Parking was fine but very tight. Overall the hotel needs some major updates and some more cleaning. Staff was very nice and helpful and the hot water was good.

An older hotel and the rooms reflect this. However really helpful and lovely staff. Everything you could want is in the rooms; hairdryer, iron, toiletries etc. Would have loved a mini fridge but there was ice available. The buffet breakfast was great too. I love this area with it's many dining options and so close to the rest of downtown. Friday & Saturday nights can get a little noisy with cars blasting music driving down the street but that. didn't really affect me. I'd definitely return!

Mold in the bathroom around toilet paper holder, on the shower curtain, on the paper notices attached to door and in the wallpaper. Elevator the warms you about not holding the door, when it isn’t even enough time to let people out then in.

The Indian Restaurant across the street had amazing food. There was also a diner down the street with hood food. The daily breakfast at Barclay was a good way to start the day. The beds were comfortable. I liked that many places I wanted to go were walking distance
