Adequate
This little basement apartment had plenty of room for us. The kitchen is just a kitchenette, but it does have 2 mini fridges, so adequate space. Hot plate, toaster oven, and microwave. The sink is very tiny. We were disappointed to find there was no bath soap or shampoo provided. The bed under the stairs was not comfortable, but the couch was, so we used that instead. Nicely decorated and fairly clean.

There’s Roaches and lacks adequate cleaning
Not enough space for the disgusting things we dealt with. Upon checking in we noticed there wasn’t enough towels and wash rags available (listing states it sleeps 7 however only 3 towels and 2 wash rags were provided), the dish soap dispenser was empty, we also noticed tons of dust throughout the property, and stains on carpet floor. We felt this wasn’t a deal breaker so we chose to stay. Not too long after checking in I texted the owner around 9am to inform her we needed towels and wash rags, around 6pm I sent another text for a follow-up as we still did not receive the towels and wash rags. Around 11pm, we noticed a very large roach crawl out from under one couch and went under another couch. We moved the couch to confirm it was a roach. I took a video of it and requested the owner come down to the basement area and address it. From moving the couch we also noted a ton of trash and food wrappers under the couch. When the owner came down a few minutes later she never apologized about the roach, and when we raised the issue of the food wrapper and trash she said she does not move the furniture when she cleans. In the process of the owner taking care of the roach she stated she needed to spray again (which indicates she knows this is an issue). In the middle of the night we discovered a large roach in the bathroom, and in the morning a smaller roach crawling up the wall. This proved to be an unsuitable place for a family to stay and we had to find other accommodations.

Cozy atmosphere!
Wonderful location with a cozy atmosphere! The space was sufficiently roomy for me, my fiancé and our infant. While there are a few minor aspects that could be improved, I have full confidence that the host will take the necessary steps to address and resolve these issues!

Clean and Cozy
We were attending our niece’s graduation party and needed an affordable place to stay and decided on this little hidden gem. Host was extremely responsive to our needs an concern. Kept in contact with us about anything we may need. Beds are extremely comfortable. Our daughter love the fairytale room. Thank you very our comfortable stay.

Awesome experience
This was our first visit to GA and first time booking with VRBO. We are very happy with our experience, easy booking the VRBO, clean, beautiful area, our stay was very comfortable, peaceful and private . We visited Stone Mountain which is conveniently close. We'll definitely be visiting soon and booking again with VRBO.

Great place to stay for a quick trip
Great communication with owner! Location was perfect for our destination (Stone Mountain). The queen size bed was very comfortable and the atmosphere was quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.

Wonderful little apartment type setting in the basement of the home; very clean and comfortable! Highly recommend if you are interested in visiting Stone Mountain - only 10 minutes away!!

Ok, but wouldn't stay again
I come in for work, 3 day week. I drive in, stay 2 nights, and head back home on the 3rd. 1st night I was super tired so I grabbed some food and came to check in/ relax. Easy to find, super easy check in, get all my stuff inside... Sat at bar to eat, but my fries were cold. No problem there was a toaster oven.... well I grab a pan and the foil to heat it up.... pan was dirty, so I just used the foil.... when I turned it on all I could smell is the burnt food at the bottom that wasn't cleaned out. After eating, I go to the bathroom first thing I see is a dirty rag hanging on the shower rod. I message host to let her know.... she apologized assuring me she cleaned in there, but some how over looked it. She asked if I wanted her to get it, but I was a little annoyed by the question because is that really a question?? Didnt respond to that question, because I try to always be nice. I had cleaner with me anyway so i just recleaned before using and left the rag there. It was stiff so it clung well n never fell on me. The shower liner was super dirty past disposal time, i just made sure it didnt touch me either... I try to turn on the shower, and the knob just turns.... in the mist of trying to figure it out, it falls off. I place it back on and figure out I had to push while turning it to make it work.... when i went to iron my clothes, I grabbed a cup to put water in the iron, yep you guessed it, that was dirty too with red Kool aide or something. Its a basement apartment, so you literally hear every step taken, and there were lots of steps taken. I sleep hard so once i was sleep the noise didnt bother me). The best part about the stay was the bed it was super comfy ( I of course used microban because I use that everywhere COVID) there were also lots of spider webs in random places like ceiling corners and coming off the back of the chair in the bedroom. In short the first night I started to leave, but was too tired to look for anywhere else to stay so I just sucked it up n stayed because it was only 2 nights... but not again. Because what is the cleaning fee for if not for cleaning?? I haven't run into this kind of issue anywhere else, and I've been on this assignment for a month and a half..

Great place for a long weekend
This was a comfy and cozy place to stay for our family of 5 (parents and 3 small children). Overall the check in process was seamless. The place was very homey in feel and we all had great nights of sleep on the comfortable beds. Location was convenient for us. Thank you.

Very cozy place
Extremely comfortable spot not too far from Atlanta and Lawrenceville. Plce was very clean and had all the amenities. Would highly recommend and would consider staying here again.

Thanks for the review. There are detailed instructions sent on where to find the door and a very bright flood light turns way in advance of approaching. Unfortunately, when it rains in the spring/summer, it increases the humidity in the basement.

PERFECT place!
