Golden Nugget

8/10 Good

"The overall experience was good. I do not gamble but did try the Asian restaurant on site and it was great. I had the newly renovated Primary Room and it was good. The room is a nice size on a high quiet floor; lots of lighting and plugs; hardwood floors; a mini fridge and a couch. The only thing I didn’t like was the sliding barn door to the bathroom, you can hear inside the bathroom. We did have an issue with one of the blankets having a stain but it was quickly taken care of. We had late check-out ( optional with an extra fee) for 1 o’clock and didn’t have housekeeping bother us at all. The other great thing I loved was the free self parking( rare to find) and the option the upgrade. Most of the restaurants close around 10/11 so make reservations or pickup before then other wise you’ll have to get takeout. Will I stay here again?… yes."

The Claridge Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Fun staying in a nostalgic property. Restaurant and bar onsite were excellent! Shout out to Kanai and Susan in the Roaring 20's restaurant, and to Jerry the bartender at Vue rooftop bar! The hotel is on the boardwalk, with a connecting walkway to Ballys. Location, location, location! Walk to shops, restaurants, bars and other casinos. Not a walker--no problem. A mini bus runs the boardwalk for $5, or $13 all day. There are also "rickshaw" style carts, unknown $$."
