This place was nasty, blood or poop on the walls, mold in the fridge. When I told him about fridge he just wiped it with a towel. Fridge and freezer stank! Could put my food in so that went bad. Beds had no support and pillows were lumpy and flat! Will never go back!

Absolutely disgusting and smelled horrible the bathroom sink pipes when turned on sink water would pour out all over floor ... And toilet leaked all over floor when you flushed

Reasonable pricing. Few minutes drive to the beach
Motel is like a mom and pop type of place which they do there best to keep it up and provide reasonable pricing even though it’s a bit outdated. Beds are comfortable and room and bathroom was clean. No bugs. Good for a 1 or 2 night stay. Convinetely located near shopping areas.

If I had paid $25 for this room I wouldn't complain...it looks exactly like what you would expect from a $25 room within 1/2 hour of the Atlantic City Boardwalk. But at over $100, no way. This place is what you get when the owner doesn't care about anything...there were holes in the walls, mold growing on the floor in the bathroom, the bathroom outlet didn't work, paint literally slopped on the bathroom counter and never cleaned up from when the room was last painted. This is the only place I've ever stayed where I was skeeved out by touching the remote control...it was literally sticky...I put it in a plastic bag so we could use it without touching it. No bedbugs that we could see, but when we turned down the covers on the bed some kind of bug skittered away. No wonder either since you can literally see daylight around and under the door even when it's closed and locked. This place is tiny and HORRIBLE...Stay ANYPLACE else...Anyplace...I think I would have been happier on a boardwalk bench.

NO FRILLS needs updating
This is a no frills hotel that needs some care. A place to lay your head. Just a lttle updating would make it a lot more appealing. Also bathroom could have been cleaner.

A comfortable and okay stay
The room inside was clean enough especially compared to the affordable price. A staff was accommodating and kind. A faucet in the bathroom was a new one, and hot water pressure in shower was good.

You get what you pay for! Staff (owners?) nice enough, but room, especially bathroom shabby, Might have been recently painted, but walls should have been patched first. Crumbling walls at ends if tub, plus mold/mildew. Unsightly underside of sink plumbing is sight from toilet. Big gash in bathroom door painted over but not patched no place to hang long clothes

The place was was small run down the tub plunger didnt work so no bath the refrigerator made a loud noise the whole time. The beds where hard as a rock. We couldn't even go to the owner because he didnt speak english and couldn't understand us. Won't ever stay here again.

Noisy refrigerator
Wi-Fi didn’t work.. no places to plug in your phone or laptop. Refrigerator woke me up a lot during the night with noise

We were booked for a number of beds and when we got there they changed our reservation and stuck us in whatever they wanted to give us the only reason we wanted to go to this hotels because there was no other hotel with a pool available and this had a Jacuzzi tub when I went to give my son a bath so he could enjoy the tub it didn’t even turn on whatsoever mold in the ceiling or electricity went off in the middle of the night around 11 o’clock at night I guess a power fuse blew or some thing and it took them a few hours for us to even get power back on in the room he got pretty hot in there

I was pleased with my Stay at the Sunset Motel. For a motel it had the usual cracks, dents, and bad paint, but the room was cozy. The Air conditioner was cold and lovely. The water was hot and the pressure was great in the shower. Out of 5 stars I would give this room 3. Would definitely stay again. Great location off the black horse Pike. Quiet but still near everything.
