"Gite très agréable !Les jeux nous ont permis de passer de s'amuser et la cheminée de nous réchauffer malgré la meteo de janvier. Le gite est spacieux et en très bon état. Excellente literie. Salles de bains rénovées.Je recommande!!!"

"We stayed here for a friend’s birthday who lives nearby. The facilities were excellent for our needs. The property is very well equipped, and has a great garden with outdoor equipment. The nearby railway line was no problem as there were only about 2 trains per hour. Would definitely recommend."

Nächster Ort Pernes. ca. 10 Autominuten, etwa 1500 Einwohner, aber 2 tolle Bäcker, 2 Schlacher, kleiner Gemüseladen mit toller Käseauswahl, Bank..............Wem das nicht reicht, fährt noch etwa 10 Minuten mehr nach ST. Pol oder Auchel. Das Haus ist sehr groß. Kleine Kritken, meckern auf hohen Niveau, die Windmühlen in der Gegend, passen nicht so sehr in die schöne Landschaft und sind auch immer ein wenig zu hören. "Nous avons bien profité de la piscine qui est couverte et chauffée avec de l'eau jusqu'à la poitrine sur tout le bassin. Tout le nécessaire est présent dans la propriété. On y retournera très certainement. Merci à Stéphanie et Alexandre pour leur acceuil."

"Beautiful B&B. We were in “2 Bis”, the sister of PieuX. Only 2 rooms so we had the whole place. Amenities were really good, the bedrooms quiet and the beds super comfy, that was all 5 stars! We loved the quirkiness, fantastic place and literally 20 seconds from the grand place but you can’t hear the noise at all!! The breakfast is not to be missed, very simple but oh so fantastic! The sourdough and brioche were the best we’ve ever had (and we are big foodies being French and South Africans). I think the jams were homemade and the muesli was really good too! The minus was the bathroom in the red room. It was quite musty, the overhead shower wasn’t working and there is sign of mold behind the paint cause by moisture. That said, the handheld shower was powerful, the little freebies were plentiful too, including salt for the bath etc… TV wasn’t working well neither but we went out most of the time so it didn’t bother us. Overall, fantastic place; we will book again."

"The staff were all excellent, the room wonderful and the grounds pretty - a great overall sense of quiet and calm I did not like the booking experience with Expedia however - the photo linked with the room I booked was not correct and over-inflated expectation. When the hotel realised they changed the picture and offered us a free upgrade"

Our host Jacqueline was an absolute diamond, and what we both lacked in fluency in the native tongue of the other, was suitably accommodated via translation tools. La Mansarde is truly beautiful, very comfortable, within walking distance of fine restaurants and with the most brilliant host. I will stop in five other establishments across the duration of this trip, and nothing else will surpass La Mansarde."
