Peaceful and private 'Birdhouse' country retreat nestled amongst the trees and garden, where you can listen out for the beautiful birdsong of our native Tūī, the cheeping of Fantails/Pīwakawaka as they flitter in the branches, the swooping sounds of the Kererū and the soft chanting of the Morepork at night. Modern rustic tiny home, vacant now our daughter has left the nest - right in the heart of wine country, Kumeū.
Ready for your romantic weekend away, base for attending a local wedding, retreat for visiting family or catching up with friends. Close to Kumeu Showgrounds, Kumeu Village shops, great restaurants, local wineries, the beautiful black sand beach of Muriwai, strawberry picking, Parakai Hot Pools, forest walks and trails, local breweries, cafés and wedding venues.
