Bright and charming, painted with the colours of the Pohutukawa tree in full bloom - welcome to Pohutukawa Cottage.

This neat waterfront cottage gets filled with natural light, and the south-facing windows along the length of the house frame the spectacular views down to Millon Bay. Pohutukawa Cottage is furnished with relaxation and comfort in mind, offering the ideal set-up for easy holiday living.

Wake up each morning in the master bedroom, open up the bi-folding doors out onto the sundeck, and soak up the fresh morning air. Spend your summer days wandering down to the water just at the bottom of the garden.

Equipped with everything you might need, including WIFI, this is the ideal spot for a getaway any time of year. In summer, the sundeck and BBQ are ready to host classic kiwi dinners fresh off the grill. Then come winter, you and family will be able to keep toasty warm inside with the heat pump set to the ideal temperature.

Take the kids down along the water to the local playground; there's no need to pack a picnic when you are this close to home when lunchtime rolls around. The surf beach at Tawharanui is an easy 15-minute drive away, as is the Matakana Village with its weekend markets, shops, and nearby vineyards. There certainly is plenty to explore and enjoy close by!

The location, view and space in the bach were all amazing. Also - take a wander through the back yard for direct access to the beach! (Campbells beach playground and good for kayaking). Furthermore, there are plenty of books and boardgames in the house. Also DVDs but note no dvd player. All the essentials are provided which is helpful but we noted some of them were a bit old and needed replacing. Thankfully not a problem given how close the place was to Matakana villiage and Omaha. Fantastic holiday!
