Fully self-contained with two full kitchens, in-apartment laundry in each suite, and Auckland`s best neighbourhoods on your doorstep. The Sky Tower, K Road, Ponsonby and the Viaduct all within walking distance.
When two becomes one — welcome to The Union & Co Suite, a rare and genuinely special city accommodation option that combines two mirror-image studios on the fifth floor of one of Auckland`s most architecturally celebrated buildings into a single, spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.
Each studio is a beautifully self-contained space in its own right, designed by award-winning architects The Leuschke Group, with clean modern lines, quality finishes, fully equipped kitchens, and contemporary bathrooms. When both are booked together, the interconnecting door between them is opened, and the combined result is something quite different from a standard apartment — a generous, flexible floor plan with two completely separate bedroom and bathroom suites, two full kitchens, and two living areas, all opening onto a shared central space.
This layout is ideal for two couples who want to travel together while maintaining their own private space, for families with older children or teenagers, or for anyone who simply appreciates having room to breathe in a city stay. Each suite has its own queen bed, bathroom, kitchen, Smart TV, air conditioning, in-apartment washer and dryer, and hotel-quality linen. There`s nothing to share that you don`t choose to — but when you want to gather, the combined open space makes it feel like a proper apartment rather than two separate rooms.
Both studios are on the fifth floor of Union & Co, within the same secure, lift-accessed building that sets the tone from the moment you walk through the gate — a landscaped central courtyard, considered architecture, and a calm residential feel that`s a world away from a hotel corridor.
Both studios and all their facilities are exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Each suite is fully private and self-contained, and the interconnecting door gives you seamless movement between the two spaces as a combined apartment.
Just remember that the internal doors to the individual apartments may self lock, so do not forget keep the doors wedged open, or the keys on you.
Please note that while Union & Co features a swimming pool and gym, these facilities are reserved for permanent residents and are not available to short-term guests.

Union Street sits right on the ridgeline between Auckland`s CBD and the leafy Freemans Bay valley, which puts you within easy walking distance of three of the city`s most vibrant neighbourhoods all at once. The Sky Tower and SkyCity are a 10-minute walk, Queen Street and the Aotea Centre are just down the hill, and the Viaduct Harbour and Wynyard Quarter waterfront are an easy stroll away for waterside dining, bars, and weekend atmosphere.
Five minutes up the hill is Karangahape Road — Auckland`s most eclectic and creative strip, lined with independent cafes, bars, galleries, vintage stores, and some of the most interesting dining in the city. Continue a little further and you`re on Ponsonby Road, widely regarded as Auckland`s dining room, where a seemingly endless parade of excellent restaurants and boutique cafes stretches along one of the city`s most enjoyable streets.
