"The property was as described and exactly what we needed. Downtown was a block away. Several restaurants and shops. We are originally from the area and selected this location because it was near downtown and central to places in Augusta and Gardiner that we wanted to visit. The house is a wonderfully updated old home."

The layout of the space was funky (as are most old houses in Maine) but useful. We had no issues with heat, water, electricity, internet, or anything else. "Well appointed clean, comfortable apartment for myself and 3 colleagues. The only thing I would say is that there is one enormous bedroom and then a mid size room that is connected by a sliding barn door from a very small room without a window. This small room has the trundle bed. Might be perfect for a family- it was a little tough for 4 adults. Other than that is was great and Carmen and her husband were wonderful hosts!"

"Myself and 4 friends booked this home on the water for an annual super bowl ice fishing trip. The house was just as described, spacious and comfortable. The pond is beautiful and the fishing was outstanding, we caught fish all day long. Location is good as well, with plenty of restaurants and downtown Augusta within 10 to 15 minutes. Great home for the price."

"This is the cleanest property I have ever rented. Spotless! The setting is so peaceful and calming. Hubby and I sat outside looking at the lake, listening to the leaves rustle and a feeling of total relaxation was ours. Grocery stores and town are only a few miles down the road. Easy to find.
