"We had a wonderful stay @ the York property for Masters week!!The house was super clean, offered all the amenities we could ask for and Josh was quick to respond with any questions we had (although, he had everything set up perfectly, we didnt have many!). Also, the neighborhood is really cute, clean and easy to get to!!What a great week it was!!"

"The house was close to the course but the was the only positive. The yard was in poor shape and the interior was not very clean. The shower had no hot water. It also has obvious damage visible. There was also a junk car on the street. I would not recommend staying there."

What is a historic hotel like in Augusta?
A historic hotel gives guests a chance to stay in a place that's been recognised with an official historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world have had many former lives and uses, such as palaces, castles, stately homes or even lodges, pubs or skyscrapers — any place of special interest. These types of hotels in Augusta typically retain original elements such as period features or traditional architecture in their public spaces or guestrooms.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
They are quite similar. "Historic hotel" is more commonly used in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to place more significance on the building and architecture itself. Heritage hotels draw their meaning mainly from the place's cultural value and how it shaped the community.
Do historic hotels in Augusta have modern facilities?
Yes. Every effort is made to preserve historic facades and treasured traditions, but hotel interiors are fitted with modern conveniences and safety features. Guests can expect the usual amenities you'd get from a hotel such as WiFi, heating and air conditioning, and updated bathroom facilities. In Augusta, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you're picking a place that's uncomfortable for guests or rundown.
