"A very good place to spend your holidays"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Royal Kalaw Hills Resort. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the food is excellent and the service was personal and everyone was very attentive. Chozin, who manages the resort was particularly helpful and I could always count on her to help me in many capacities. Her English skills are very good and she was able to help tremendously. Thank you all for a lovely visit!"

"A very hospitable new hotel about 4km outside Kalaw in a quiet area with fantastic rural views. Still getting established and with plans for a pool and spa. Great food and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. A little quiet while we were there but probably due to low season approaching and getting themselves set up."

"This resort was a HUGE highlight of my trip to Myanmar. The staff was so friendly and helped in every way that they could. The breakfast was delicious, rooms extremely spacious and perfectly kept grounds. The drinking water was a huge bonus. It is a difficult time right now for they people and they could not have been more thankful that I was there. The tour around the lake was such a unique experience. I loved learning how they make the gardens and the above water houses. The fishermen are...

"We stayed for 3 nights after a trek from Kalaw. The bedrooms are large with the most comfortable beds in Myanmar... and sumptuous white bedding ! Lots of hot water and good a/c. Hotel is on the edge of town so quiet and great for catching up on sleep! Only 10mins walk (5mins cycle) or less to everywhere in town. Hotel provides free bikes to get around. We organised a couple of trips on Inle lake via hotel which was excellent value with good boat drivers who collect you from the hotel - beats...
