Room had a good view of the pool and was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful including taking some of us to join in a local festival. All the food was excellent and on one of the evenings the chef made us a special dish as my husband had asked about local specialties. They even offered us a packed breakfast as we had to leave early.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gateway Hotel in Sambhajinagar. The staff were exceptional throughout our visit: warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. The food was also excellent, with delicious meals and wonderful service. The location is ideal for visiting the extraordinary Ellora and Ajanta Caves, which were among the highlights of our trip to India and are stunningly beautiful. The hotel made a perfect base for exploring both sites while providing a comfortable and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. Wonderful people, excellent food, great service, and a fantastic location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Gateway Hotel to anyone visiting Sambhajinagar and the Ajanta and Ellora Caves.

The staff is extraordinarily attentive. If you want to stay someplace that isn’t cookie cutter. Try this heritage property. The staff is incredible. If it weren’t for them, I might have lowered my score. There were two problems that I’ve never before experienced. The first room I was given had a strong odor of mildew on the lower level. The staff quickly changed me. As I was walking down the hallway early one morning, I encountered three dogs roaming the hallway. It frightened me. That has never happened to me ever. The staff reacted quickly. It was an interesting stay at an interesting hotel and I recommend for its quirkiness and incredible staff

Our family of ten stayed at this property for three nights in early July. Being a five star hotel, our expectations were high. We were happy that not only the property met the standards of cleanliness, amenities, aesthetics - the staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable. They were very friendly, mindful of everyone’s needs, and even proactively provided for some needs that we hadn’t expressed. A big shout out to the Latitude restaurant’s head chef, manager and staff for taking pride in their work and being such gracious hosts. A memorable stay indeed!

Very pleasant experience in Aurangabad

We had a great stay at the Gateway hotel, beautiful gardens and very welcoming staff. Food was outstanding, the Ajanta and Ellora caves a must see and this hotel is a great base.

We had a very enjoyable stay in a well appointed garden facing room. The swing in the patio was an added bonus. Very friendly staff and we were greeted upon our arrival and the check in process was very efficient. We used hotel provided transportation to visit nearby attractions and our driver Manoj was very knowledgeable and explained many things (variety of plants, local industry etc.) on the way to our sightseeing locations. At the breakfast we had great service from Mr.Valmik and the chef Mr.Sanath. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful, old-world charm. Our room was nicely furnished, a little run down but very comfortable. The pool and garden area is an oasis of lush greenery, and very peaceful. The breakfasts and dinners was delectable, however lunch was a slow process. Many We would love to come back to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at this safe haven. The staff was very kind. We particularly enjoyed the friendliness and safe driving by Manuj. Our luggage did not arrive and he took us to a great shop for traditional clothing and a mall for western wear. His smiles brightened my spirits daily. We simply enjoyed this hotel and returning to the good food and kind staff in the evenings.

We loved our stay at the Gateway from the beginning to the moment we left. We arrived very early and were given a complimentary early check in at 9am. Our room was extremely clean, large and with a lovely balcony area. All of the team were fabulous from front of house to the chef, maitre’d and security, they could not do enough for us to make our stay a memorable one. The pool area is huge and very clean and I had a great massage. The breakfast and buffet dinner are fabulous as is the Chinese restaurant We left very early and when we got into our car to the airport at 5.45am, we discovered two bags with a packed breakfast. We would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.

Exceptional stay - the staff were all wonderful and pleasant. The pool staff in particular were very kind to my son. The food was excellent. The chef was very pleasant and I appreciated that he went around to personally talk to guests at table to make sure everything was just right. The breakfast options and dinner options have something for everyone. This was such a wonderful experience and I will gladly come again when I visit India.
