Single-storey Landes house in a large forest park by the lake, 8km to the ocean

Rich in unspoilt nature and centuries-old history, the Darricau estate extends over several dozen hectares of wooded parkland and meadows around the manor house of an empire general.
Come and enjoy a peaceful break between the Atlantic beaches, the Landes forest and the poetic banks of the Etang d'Aureilhan, which runs alongside our park.
There's a horse-riding centre on the estate and a network of cycle paths nearby.
Take your camera or binoculars with you to observe the wildlife that lives here in safety, away from the hunters.

Three large gîtes await you, luxuriously appointed in 18th-century or Art Deco style.

La Prairie aux Chevaux
The 140m2 gîte offers four bedrooms, with 3 shower rooms (capacity 12 people) and one bedroom with walk-in shower accessible to people with reduced mobility. A vast lounge/dining room/open-plan kitchen, with a usable antique fireplace, offers a wide view over the meadow where the horses from the neighbouring riding school graze daily.A private garden provides complete peace and quiet.
A warm welcome awaits you on arrival, and a member of the estate staff will be on hand to help you during your stay.
Regular cleaning will be provided on arrival, during your stay and on departure. For your convenience, this cleaning is not an optional extra.
The supply of linen (sheets, towels, tea towels, bath mats) is included in our service.

It is not often one gets the chance to stay on the estate of a Chateau. The care takers looked after us perfectly and faultlessly. I would love to return one day and highly recommend this to others seeking a quiet unprentious stay.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine entre amis de 55 à 75 ans.le gite est spacieux, agréable et tout confort. l'accueil a été parfait. la localisation s'avère sans doute très bien en période estivale. Cependant sur la période hivernale où presque tout est fermé, il est un peu loin de toute animation urbaine. il reste cependant intéressant pour les randonneurs.

Nous connaissions déjà cette location en été, venons de la decouvrir version hiver. Accueil chaleureux, logement agréable, le charme de la cheminée et des beaux espaces. Le cadre est magnifique même si la meteo n'etait pas favorable. SUPER pour un rassemblement defamille

Super semaine en famille et entre amis. Le lieu est magnifique: superbe parc pour ballade en vélo et jeu dans la forêt. La maison est décorée avec goût, très fonctionnelle et l’hôte est adorable. Le lac est à 5 min et La plage est à 30 min en vélo, la piste cyclable est si belle! Nous reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Hemos pasado una semana de Sol y buena temperatura en Agosto, disfrutando de la paz de la ubicacion y el verde paisaje que rodea la casa. La casa es amplia y cómoda para dos o mas familias, esta limpia y cuidada y la anfritriona es encantadora. Sin duda repetiría.

Long weekend en famille à 10. La maison est très bien équipée, spacieuse et très propre avec un patio très agréable. Nous avons tous petits et grands passés un très agréable moment. Pour avoir fait des weekend un peu partout ces dernières années, ce logement est notre plus belle expérience. Merci Emmanuelle, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour pour fêter les 2 ans de notre fille. Amis et famille étaient ravis, le fait que les chiens soient acceptés était également un super avantage pour nous. Nous recommandons vivement cette location !

Excellent séjour pour une réunion familiale (large). Nous avons passé de vacances inoubliables grâce à un cadre exceptionnellement tranquille et accueillant. Emmanuelle a toujours était disponible en cas de besoin et nous avions pu profiter des grands espaces de dans la maison, des balades à cheval à l’intérieur du domaine et de sa proximité au lac. Vraiment recommandé pour des séjours en famille et envie de repos et tranquillité.

La maison est très bien configurée pour un séjour en famille, les salles de bain et la cuisine sont très fonctionnelles. Le jardin intérieur et la terrasse permettent de manger dehors. Un immense parc permet aux petits et grands de profiter de la nature. Accès direct au lac et parc de jeux pour enfants, cueillette de champignons. L'accueil et la communication ont été très facile avec Emmanuelle.
