"The house was set up perfectly for our family reunion as there was plenty of space for everyone to either be together or have their own space for awhile. I was initially concerned about how close the lake might be to the house because we have young children. But the reality is the lake is down a relatively long staircase and since the lake water level is very low, it did not become an issue. The host had set up a Fairy Garden search for our kids that they thoroughly enjoyed, prompting them to make a fairy house of their own - great outdoor adventures. She had a resource list of everything to do in the area as well as store info which was also helpful.Overall, a good choice for us."

"I stay here every year on 7/2-7/4 as it’s the closest hotel to my sister. This year we were excited to see it had a little facelift. The outside had been painted and the room had a fresh coat of paint. Could still use some updating of the bathroom and some thicker blankets on the bed but as a budget hotel, it’s fine. The pool is clean. The check in is easy and quick. There is a market and restaurants close by."
