Cozy Studio Nestled In North University

This quaint studio apartment is nestled in the quiet neighborhood known as 'North University,' immediately adjacent to 'Hyde Park.' It occupies the ground floor of a 2-story carriage house behind a World War II-era bungalow.

It is within walking distance of the neighborhood hub of Hyde Park, a center which includes several great local restaurants, an old-fashioned grocery, a coffee house and bakery, and a gelati bar. It is also within walking distance of all that the University of Texas has to offer (including the football stadium), and only 2 miles from the capitol and downtown.

The studio boasts both modern and antique furnishings, luxury linens and solid WI-fi. It has its own patio set up for outdoor lounging and also has an outdoor eating area with barbecue grill.

Clean and peaceful

Just what I was hoping for…a clean, comfortable, quiet and affordable place to stay while visiting with family. Great location!!! I hope to have another stay in the future.

Great place for concerts

We went to a concert at the the Moody Center, which is a 5 minute ride from the house, as are many great restaurants/bars. Great communication from the owner, easy to use, and felt very quiet and safe! The AC and privacy were top notch as well.

Great location

Awesome location if you don’t mind walking a mile or two to some hot spots or Uber works too. Anne was very responsive and we have no complaints except that the shower door is extremely narrow to get in and out. Everything else was comfortable and clean.

upper university neighborhood studio

The first floor studio was the perfect basecamp for visiting local friends and family. You can bike, stroll, or take the UT shuttle nearly everyplace that matters from this private, well-located, accommodation with a stylish cottage feel in a pretty garden space. The essentials: kitchen, bath, AC were up-to-date, with architectural details such as a nice tall closet, glass-and-tile shower and mood lighting. The bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and share the "find" with my friends. The owner was quick to respond to my texts for clarification on check-in. It was perfect for my needs!

Weekend visit

Thus was a quick weekend visit for my wife and I to see our daughter who is a student at UT and the studio was a perfect option for us. We had our own space but were close enough to be able to spend a lot of time with her. Also while it is very close to campus it did not have the hustle and bustle and overcrowded feel like some of the other neighborhoods in the area.

Cozy is the perfect description for this little studio. We felt very comfortable and safe. It was like coming "home" at the end of the day with all the amenities we needed to settle in after a busy day. The owner was easy to contact and VERY responsive to our "checking in" questions. I grew up in Austin and was in town for best friend’s 60th Birthday party in the neighborhood.

Very comfortable place. A little noisy from guest upstairs, but given all other things, it’s no big deal. The hat water in the shower could be a little warmer and was cloths would be nice. I’ll be back.

Perfect place for two

This is the perfect place to spend your time in Austin. We absolutely loved the neighborhood. It was gorgeous with tree lined streets and beautiful homes. The space is clean and bright. Everything was neat and comfortable. So much more relaxing then being downtown. The house is centrally located and it makes it easy to drive around or to get a quick Uber. There is also a lot of space outside to enjoy the weather or have coffee in the morning. This is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy all that Austin has to offer.

SMOKING!

When I first got there is smelt like a ashtray! With a ashtray on both sides of the bed. I think this needs to be told to people renting the property. I brought my own pillows thank goodness. Overall it was cute. The cigarette smell ruind the whole thing for me.

Perfect place for 1-2 people. Very clean, well appointed, will definitely stay here again. Down for a visit with my Longhorn for the weekend and really felt comfortable here. Ann was great! One word of advice - read the instructions she sends!

Quiet studio in Hyde Park

We loved our stay in this one bedroom studio. Hyde Park is a lovely neighborhood, Ann is super responsive and easy to communicate with, and we will definitely be back. Great location to access all things Austin. Thanks for a great stay!

Adorable cozy cottage

One of my favorite vacation rentals ever! This little studio is adorable and well equipped. The garden is great; there's lots of outdoor furniture for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine, and since it's situated behind the house it's really private. The kitchen had everything I needed and the bathroom and wardrobe are large and have lots of storage space. It's definitely tucked into the neighborhood, but you can still get lots of places in a 10-minute walk or so, including some great restaurants and bakeries, walking trails, parks, etc. Comfortable, zen, and with a ton to do nearby - loved it so much I extended my stay!

A Little Jewel!

Everything was smooth, from communications with the owner to check in. This studio was perfect for one person and would be fine for a couple. It was super clean, the bed was comfy with nice percale sheets, and the kitchen had everything I needed. Great location and easy parking. Would definitely stay again!

Great spot

Adorable studio, well stocked linens and kitchen needs. Excellent communication with host and we liked staying in a neighborhood vs. heart of downtown. We walked to coffee from the studio and quick Uber and EBike use to downtown.
