  • Peaceful and cozy 4-bedroom 2-bathroom residential home just 1 mile from downtown Austin. Our home is on a corner lot with plenty of privacy and space. We're located in Austin's coveted east side, right across the street from the George Washington Carver Museum.

    We take pride in providing a short-term rental that we host our own family in. Standard amenities include:

Very clean, beds comfortable, love the private outdoor patio. There was only one small living space with that big top table and a 3 person couch so we didn’t really have an indoor space to hang out all together.

Great place close to everything!

This was the perfect house for us while we had a business trip. The host was great and the house was located so close to everything in Austin, yet was very quiet to come back to in the evening. Would definitely stay again!

My family and I stayed here for a Texas football game! Great location we were able to walk to and from the stadium. We struggled with the door keypad but once we figured it out we had no issues!

Nice downtown stay

Place was clean and comfortable. One of the door hinges to the master bedroom is loose and made closing to door difficult. Additionally two windows and the sliding glass door where unlo ked when we arrived.

Great house for family and friends visit to Austin

Nice 4 bedroom, 2 bath house in a walkable neighborhood. Only amenity missing is a washer and dryer for laundry. Host answered all our questions and check in and check out process was seamless. You can walk to good coffee and Franklin's BBQ easily from the property. Uber's to 6th street or other areas were under $20.

Very nice place and location

Very clean and well supplied. The treats and goodies that were there for us were really appreciated. Sometimes small touches make a big difference and we were all very pleased. Location is great if you don't mind walking a little. Neighborhood felt safe and many shops, parks and restaurants within a 1 mile pleasant walk. Would highly recommend.

Clean house, nice central location

We were in town for a wedding and had 6 people stay in the house. It was very clean throughout. The location is nice, especially for access to the state capitol, UT, and the 6th street area. The host provided some nice snacks and a bottle of wine at check-in and was very responsive to the couple questions we had during our stay. I would stay in this same house again.

Girls trip

I sent my wife and some of her friends to Austin for a girls trip. My wife has been talking about how amazing this house was since she came back. She said it was extremely clean and convenient to downtown. Communication with the property manager was spot on. If I asked a question, I got an answer in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

great location

only issue is this place doesn't have a washer and dryer, we did a lot of water activities ( Schlitterbahn water park, Lake Travis, kayak in Colorado River, Lady Bird Lake and to Barton pool ) we end up taking a couple showers a day and with only 2 towels,hand towel and wash cloths perroom we keep having to reuse towels and also use towels that we brought, wish there was a closet full of extra towels or a washer and dryer. other than that we really enjoyed our stay, thank you

Great location. Walking distance to many fun activities. Having 4 bedrooms was a very nice feature to have, each person on our trip was able to have their own room. I would give 5 stars, however the 220 outlet did not work to charge our car. Contacted the owner, and they called an electrician, but they were not able to come fix problem during our stay. Owner was nice enough to reimburse me for costs to supercharge car later, but it still was an inconvenience. Overall good experience and would rent again.

Perfect for guys weekend

This house was very centrally located to UT to attend a football game, Uber was $6.50. Then we walked home and it seemed like a 20 minute walk. Also close to Franklin’s BBQ…..which our group feels is an absolute must for any trip to Austin for football and BBQ. House itself is well appointed, clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and quiet. The communication between myself and the owner was outstanding. Every response was prompt and spot on, a real pleasure to work with. I would have zero hesitation in booking here again, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for clean, comfortable, and convenient location. Loved it!

This Vrbo was wonderful! The owner was great at communicating and alowed us to check-in early! We had a super early flight so we were so grateful for the early check-in. And even more grateful for the bottle of wine that greeted us!!! Just what we all needed! It was a beautiful night so we spent majority of the day/evening outside under the covered area off of the house. We were able to walk to a convenience store to get drinks for the night. Ordered some amazing BBQ from Terry Blacks! Highly recommend! Would for sure stay here again when there is more time to explore. Such a cute area. Felt very safe. Was quiet but also had a lot of people/couples/families out for walks and bike rides. Overall 5 out of 5!!!
