Completely remodeled classic 40's home on corner lot in popular Zilker Park neighborhood. Great location for everything Austin has to offer. Walk to restaurants, bars, shops. Two miles to Barton Springs, Zilker Park and Austin's many miles of hike and bike trails around Lady Bird Lake.

Inside the house offers all the comforts of modern living: New energy efficient appliances including large capacity washer and dryer, HDTV full cable with wireless Internet (Road Runner Turbo), hardwood floors and tiled baths, pillow top mattresses, high quality bedding and a great leather sofa. This is a great Austin spot with lots of really outstanding restaurants and shopping nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning walks around the neighborhood and then coffee on the back patio. The beds are comfy and the house was exactly what we expected!

Carefree stay in Austin.

We all very much enjoyed staying at LaCasa. If it had been a bit warmer, we would have really enjoyed the backyard space a little more. Overall the house was comfortable, well thought out and well supplied. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is fantastic. Great location near several restaurants. 15 minutes from the airport and downtown. The horseshow pit added entertainment. We would definitely go again. Thanks for the great accommodations.

Family Christmas Trip to ATX

This property was exactly the right fit for my family of 6! We had enough room to spread out but a nice family space for gathering. Location was great to all we wanted to do and see in Austin. Carole and Kerry were excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted for our stay. Great communication and recommendations! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay for a visit to Austin!

Zilker Park La Casa

Really great place. Despite being close to Lamar, it was quiet and the backyard was very peaceful, with mature trees and horseshoes (which I'm not very good at). Location was great with walkable options including coffee, restaurants and beer garden. Access to the house was easy and painless. Would return again.

A South Lamar Gem

I have stayed in many homes in Austin over the past years and this was by far my favorite. The host was the most communicative ever! The layout of the home was perfect for our family. The beds were so comfy. Loved the neighborhood and taking early morning walks. I just cannot say enough good things about and definitely look forward to coming back!!

Great for infant!

Checkin process was easy and they had a ton of baby infrastructure. It was great not having to pack a crib or high chair. The location was also great.Street parking was full most afternoons/evenings. The doors were tough to close and the house’s temperature was uneven: very hot on the side with two bedrooms and freezing on the other side. These are just quirks of an older house, so I would still recommend.

South Lamar home base

Our family of 4 (2 sons 18 & 21) stayed in Kerry and Carole’s lovely home off South Lamar for a 4 day visit to Austin. The house was perfect. Very clean and lots of space. Master suite was just right so we had our own bathroom. Kitchen was fully outfitted so we could save a few bucks making meals as needed. Comfy couch and good WiFi really helped when the weather wasn’t cooperating with our outdoor plans. Great backyard and deck was nice in the mornings. Absolutely perfect location to get anywhere we wanted to go - Barton Springs, Lady Bird Lake, Congress restaurants and music venues, Bee Cave area and, of course, the great downtown district. Will definitely stay again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this La Casa property. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the A/C keeps the house cool even during the Texas summer. Accessing the property was easy, and the owners checked in to ensure all was well. Perfect home away from home

Carole and Kerry’s home is in a fantastic neighborhood, it is well appointed, well equipped, and overall a wonderful place to rent. We spent a lot of time on the nicely shaded back deck, where this is a lot of great bird watching. I plan to come back to this house many more times! It’s perfect!
