  • Imaginie yourself in Italy overlooking Lake Como, when in reality, you are still in Texas!
    This beautifully decorated 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment is located at the top of the wine castle at Villa del Sol. The suite has what you want in a romantic, cozy, private getaway for a long weekend or weeks at a time. Relax and toast another day while watching our Texas sun set over the hill country! Part of an Italian style estate, separated from the main house with private entry, the apartment suite is decorated with unique accessories, colorful art and best of all, incredible views of the sunset, hill country and main basin of Lake Travis. Only 19 minutes to Downtown Austin and 1 minute to mouth watering margaritas at The OASIS! The best bedroom view on the lake! Approximately 15 steep brick steps up to the front door.
    Owner allows one small to medium size dog. Property has a very small grass area for dogs. Road the property is on is very curvy, not ample for walking.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this beautifully Italian-styled property overlooking Lake Travis. The view is absolutely magnificent and became one of the highlights of our trip. The place was very clean, comfortable, and had a warm, home-like atmosphere. It was well equipped with a kitchen, cozy sofa, TV, reliable Wi-Fi, and a very comfortable king-size bed. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay was provided. One of the best parts was the private balcony. From there, we enjoyed a panoramic view of the valley and the lake while feeling the cool breeze. The scenery was peaceful and unforgettable. Overall, this property offered both comfort and stunning natural beauty. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near Austin and would gladly stay here again

This castle was such a treat! It’s absolutely beautiful and the grounds were spectacular! We really enjoyed our weekend getaway here just relaxing and taking in the amazing views. My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. The castle is situated perfectly on Lake Travis. The view from the top tower is incredible! And it is right next to Oasis Restaurant if you need a quick bite. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

What a wonderful property! The view alone is worth it. Very quiet and comfortable stay. Check in and check out was a breeze. The welcome basket is awesome as well as coffee provided. Such a fun different property. Set high with a breathtaking view of Lake Travis. It is a little castle, a fun property that has the feel of castle, but the bed is so comfy. This apartment is exactly as described. Private and peaceful setting. The views are breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable with a lot of bedding and pillow. options. Communication with Elise was great. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking. Our AC stop working but they fixed it almost immediately! We will definitely be back!

A nice stay with a great view

If you are familiar with the view from The Oasis restaurant and love the sunsets, imagine seeing them every day! The apartment is next door to the Oasis, but not so close that the noise is a problem. Unfortunately, the water level at Lake Travis was low during our stay. But the view and the sunsets were still great. The apartment was good and Elise was great to work with. We'll probably choose the middle apartment for our next stay as the stairs were a bit much for our older legs. We loved it and we'll be back,
