Stayed here about 7 months ago with no issues. This time was the worst hotel experience of my life. Wi-Fi wouldn't work, notified front desk and they "reset". Still no Wi-Fi (we had work to do overnight) so I spoke with staff again. She said they had already reset once, nothing more would be done. Ok. When we first entered room we discovered MUSHROOMS growing out of entertainment center/fridge/microwave cabinet. They stuck out a good 4 inches past the face, and went back into the unit as far as we could see. Mold growing on same cabinetry. We were willing to stick it out since we opted for no insurance. Roaches in drawers and crevices, not happy but fine. Around 10:30 we ordered food delivery. Shortly after, but before the food arrived, we started to see the roaches really coming out. And then we found them ALL OVER the bed, on the mattress, in sheets, crawling on headboard. EVERYWHERE. Food arrived, we ate standing in the center of the room, packed our bags, and attempted to speak with staff. Rang bell multiple times, heard them in back but no one came out. Can't believe this place is still in operation. Expedia, you really should fix this. We have photos

I had a good experience with the staff but the person I was getting the for had problems with the staff. And they let her stay . I asked for a refund but customer service said I would have to get it from Expedia. Still waiting for Village Motor inn to respond to refund. I didn't receive what I paid for. I should have gotten my refund that day from V.M.Inn.

The area around it is nice but the rooms are nasty. There's bugs, the beds have roaches, I could hear rats crawling around in the walls. It's such a good area yet the hotel is so nasty and unclean

DO NOT STAY HERE. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY. This is NOT a safe property. First room had mold and a chirping smoke detector. Changed rooms, second room was also dirty and did not not have a bolt lock so there was no way to lock it only from the inside. There were people yelling on the balcony. While we were there, 2 police cars pulled up. I spoke with the police & they told me that they have had problems with this motel for the last 4 decades, that is was incredibly unsafe, and that we needed to get out. Not safe for women, not safe for men, not safe for life.

I would not recommend this place. Sketchy part of Austin south of the walkable areas. Room was not in good shape - would probably fail an inspection. If you’re thinking of this one because the price is good, it’s not worth it.

The pillows are worn. The bed is hard. There is mildew on the roof. The price does not reflect the condition. The air-conditioning stinks. I want my money back but i need to sleep.

Good deal for the price compared to other hotel around at same price but poor property conditions. Mattress, at least in my room was hotel quality. Microwave mini fridge, good cable TV line up. Decoration is like in the pictures, classy and good conditions. I would stay here again.

Typical Crackhead Motel
Constant tweaker/crackhead/prostitute activity right outside my room throughout the night. Transients sleeping below the stairwells. Hard to get some sleep without worrying about my car getting broken into (broken window glass all over the parking lot).

The front desk staff was extremely rude and almost left my family with 2 babies stay outside on the cold if it wasn’t for the intervention of another guess. Was 21 degrees and this receptionist at the time made a big fuss because the didn’t speak English. Racist and rude will never book again and will make sure my community knows not to book here.

The hotel was not clean, the sheets and pillows were bad, the ceiling was molded and falling apart in the bathroom, the toilet wouldn't flush, there was leftover drug residue in one of the drawers next to the beds, and it wasn't a pleasant stay. We needed somewhere to sleep for the night, and it served it's purpose, but I do not recommend this place at all.
