"We booked a stay for July 19th 2024. We were going to stay one night after watching the Tour de France on Isola 2000. We left early in the morning with a Eta of 11am. They closed the road at 10am 9 miles from the hotel. The tour was going to finish around 5pm. We had to turn around. It was crazy traffic. We contacted the Sowell via email through expedia and the email they sent us. It was a special situation and we would like a refund. They never answered both emails. Very disappointed.. "

If you decide to book this location, don’t forget to look at the lake and up at the sky for some beautiful sunsets and stars! Be mindful that the last 15 km are on a dangerous mountain road without guardrail and any ability to pass any other car most of the time. Safe yourself a headache and skip this horrible experience."

"I would give the staff 6 stars if I could. Awesome staff there, the room and overall experience exceeded my expectations. Would definitely come back this way on a motorcycle one day. The road here from Nice was awesome to drive on - The locals are friendly, the area is surrounded by all sorts of little gems. Even extended my stay by a day."

"We love the guest house; it is a home away from home. The furniture is up to date and very comfortable. It was clean, organized and ample space. The hosts are very amiable and extremely attentive.
