Wild Acres

Wild Acres lodge is a 14,000 sqft lodge with all the modern day amenities. Equipped with 11 bedrooms (8-4 queen beds, 1 king room, 4-twin beds) attaching bathrooms, game room, kitchen, great room, and bar. With tons of activities such as cornhole, pool tables, shooting range, axe throwing, As a add-on we have a large event room available for rent. We are located just minutes from DFW for quick commute and just a few miles from Lake Bardwell if your wanting to spend your days on the lake. We also have hunting and fishing excursions available for an additional fee.

Rental is for lodging and great room only. If you wish to use eventroom, tables, linens and chairs for larger events we have separate pricing available. NO parties/events are allowed unless pre-approved. Pricing/contract/security/insurance will be madatory for all events. Max guests is 30, any extra guests will be charged. professionally monitored security cameras at front entry, public common area and back patio. Refundable damage deposit is required. By booking this property you have agreed to the rules, check out list, waivers and liability forms.

This is a family rental, absolutely NO PARTIES/EVENTS allowed on property! Common area cameras indoor/outdoor. Not in private areas of housing.
Linens and Towels are provided. Bring paper towels, large trash bags, coffee, toilet paper, Paper plates, Foil, etc needed for your stay.

Great house but...

The place is great, great for groups. Note there are undisclosed cameras on the property, both inside and outside. This is against VRBO privacy policy. The hosts were watching our event and texting us. It was very unsettling. The hosts were very kind and communicative prior to our arrival. They do not seem to have experience in hosting large groups, and the size of the property does not align with host expectations (if you call your gathering an 'event' or 'party', you will be charged differently).

Easily the best bachelor party venue in Texas

I had a helluva time trying to find a place that could house 27 grown dudes for my bachelor party. Charlie and Brandon ABSOLUTELY DELIVERED when it came to building this place out; more than enough space for everyone, super clean, the entertainment hall had enough room for me to host a full poker tournament, the axe throwing and shooting station outside was ~100 yards from the house, and they crew was super helpful with everything we needed. Could not recommend this place more, and will definitely be coming back soon. Multiple times people came up to tell me this is the best bachelor party they’ve ever been to, in large part due to how great the venue was. Will preach about this place til the day I kick the can.

Great place for Family Get-togethers
