"Needed a place to stay in Avalon for a family wedding. Desert Sands was conveniently located within walking distance of the event. It would be even nicer had the on-site restaurant was operational. Also the signage to the check-in location could have been clearer... no big deal, just a suggestion. "

"This is a great property in the heart of Avalon! It is very clean, has everything you need to relax at the beach, make dinner, get a good night’s sleep. It has lots of comfortable beds, bikes & beach towels galore. Walking distance to the beach and coffee shops, grocery store, bakeries, restaurants. Fantastic hosts - very responsive. They went out of their way for us. We will be back!"

"House was large and allowed 13 adult siblings and spouses spaces to gather without being on top of one another. Host made some seasonal accommodations that we really appreciated. She was responsive but not intrusive. Only hassle was having to provide our own linen. Some of us came from as far as Hawaii, Cali and So Africa so arranging to have linen there was a hassle. Otherwise, the house was a perfect choice for the cost."

"House inside was beautiful. Also the pool in the back looked amazing. Not open this time of year but I can see how amazing it would be in the summer. Host was very quick to respond to any questions we had."

"We had a great time down in Avalon for a long weekend. The house was beautiful and spacious. We were three couples and 3 babies. It was great that each family had their own bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The backyard is beautiful. Hoping to go back in the summer to enjoy the pool. Very close to the beach. Mike the host was great. He was in touch with us from the beginning to end with any concerns we may have had. Which was none! Looking forward to another weekend at this beautiful home!"
