I was surprised after booking on Expedia to get a request for a damage deposit before I arrived. There was no mention on Expedia but the message conveyed there was. The property was fine, not fancy. Would benefit to have better or more bed pillows. The shower almost needed a wrench to open the taps. Shower head is not positioned properly making it necessary to hold the shower to rinse off. You cannot get the shower to stop dripping without using force to tighten taps again. Overall, the place was close to the city centre and had parking for us. It was clean, just needing some care.

Breakfast was a joke! Only coffee, bread and marmalade. No cheese or ham, egg, what else! Marmalade and honey! To less for 9,- for each person! Very hot flat! But the price for over night was ok!

A Human Oven!

I only have one complaint about my stay, however it's major! The temperature during my stay was almost 40 degrees outside and there was no A/C in the accommodation, only a tower fan. On arrival, the sun was streaming through the window, the room felt hotter than the outside temperature. Staff had not even closed the window drapes to try and prevent this. Even during my stay, with the drapes closed, I was having frequent cold showers to cool myself but 5 minutes later would be pouring in sweat. It was torturous and made me feel ill. I wouldn't have a problem staying here in other seasons but would strongly urge anyone to give this place a swerve in summer.

I liked that this property had laundry facilities--so important on a 3 week trip. Staff (Matthew) was so very wonderful--a pleasure to work with. Rooms clean, working elevators, nice restaurant a block away (Mia Napoli I think). Staff said a grocery store nearby, but I didn't need it. Downside is major--no air conditioning! Avignon is crazy hot, even in May. Over 90 degrees. You are forced to leave the balcony door open, but neighbors make noise keeping you up. No excuse for not having air conditioning in 2022 in hot locales.

The area does not feel safe. Although it is on hotels.com, it does not have a 24 hour front desk. The check-in time is 3pm - 7pm. The place does not provide an alternative check-in method unless arranged before hand. We were traveling during the day without connectivity and were not able to receive their email. When we arrived in the evening, we had no way to check-in, and had to book a different hotel in the mid of the night. Afterwards, they refused to refund even we did not stay at the property.

Bon rapport qualité - prix

Logement et parties communes très propres. Personnel à l'accueil disponible et à l'écoute. Equipement minimaliste mais sufisant pour un cours séjour. Le balcon était le bienvenu. Résidence un peu excentrée mais bien desservie par le bus. Dommage que le quartier, pourtant récent, soit laissé à l'abandon par la ville.

La résidence est un très bon point de chute pour visiter la ville et les environs. Le parking est un plus. Les appartements sont spacieux même si ils pourraient être un peu rafraîchis. La résidence est calme, cependant le quartier peut être un peu bruyant dans la rue de l épi (surtout par temps de canicule où les fenêtres sont ouvertes).
