"The apartment was clean, spacious and in a quiet location. Everything provided worked well.. We did have some trouble with the plastic white tag which activates power in the room but managed to get it into position which then allowed all power switches to work. We liked the small extras that came with the rental which included a light cereal breakfast and basic housekeeping. The location was the main drawcard. Located just adjacent to the Crowne Plaza Terrigal, it was just a few minutes walk to all the restaurants, cafes and shops along Terrigal Esplanade, and a quick stroll to the beach and the Terrigal Boardwalk. It was a great retreat for us, so close to all the amenities and parks. Choose the right time of the year to go and you will be in for a treat."

"We had an excellent stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located - just a short walk to the beach, cafés, and everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were easy and hassle-free, making the whole experience very enjoyable. The reason I gave 4 stars overall is because I wish the garden was fenced or separated for each room. It would have been great to let our dogs roam around safely or spend some time relaxing in the garden with them. I also understand that people like to stay up late or make some noise, but the doors between the rooms are very loud when they open and close. Every time another guest used their door, it made a loud bang that our dogs reacted to immediately, causing them to bark. The noise was much more noticeable than expected. Other than those two points, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely consider coming back. Thank you to the owner."

"Great location with easy access to surf beach and places to eat. Really lovely renovation making the place attractive as well as comfortable. King sized bed is always a plus for us but overall the place was just a fraction too small for us staying a week. Our largish suitcases had clothes for cool weather and hot weather as we were heading to FNQ for 3 weeks after Avoca. There could be privacy issues in the warmer months when the blinds are up - one needs to be clothed when leaving the bedroom! The shared laundry was some distance away which was ok. I believe hanging space is about to be installed in the bedroom. My guess is that it’d be better suited for us for 2 or 3 nights. Very good fruit/veg/wholefoods barn up the road. Plenty of helpful real estate agencies !Excellent communication with Hannah (owner)."

"The property was an absolute delight. The pictures on the website are very accurate and the aesthetic of the home was lovely. I particularly enjoyed to outlook over the beach and local neighbourhood. The stairs and steps to access the property are fine but may be a little tricky for some. It's a very easy walk to the shops (cafes, eateries, mini supermarket etc) and the beach. It's also an easy walk to the Surf Club and Beach House restaurant. Just be aware it's a steep walk back up the street to the property. The kitchenette is a small space but it's workable for a couple. The main bedroom was great with a large robe and easy access to the 2-way bathroom. If using the sofa bed it dies take up the full space next to thr kitchenette. The furnishings were very good, and the two deck areas were excellent. Thanks for sharing your home and making it so comfortable and warm."

"We loved our little weekend getaway here, great communication and beautiful place to stay, you can walk straight out onto the beach for a surf, right across the road from the cafes and we really appreciated all the little touches like having a washing machine and all the cosy blankets."
